C-Level, our bistro style restaurant, is open for lunch daily beginning at 11:30am and stays open through dinner. C-Level offers a beautiful outdoor, heated patio overlooking the San Diego skyline.

Excellent service, great drinks and above-average service. Bar and waiting area could have been larger, especially when needing to wait although we had a reservation. The food and service more than made up for the wait. We will definitely be going back for all the special occasions in the area!

My girlfriend asked for medium on the 3 steaks. 2 out of 3 were rare. Great venue but a tad pricey for what you get. My Seabasss was decent. Wedge salad was good.
Brussel sprouts were burnt. Bread was good and service was excellent.

Our server, Justin, was outstanding. It’s rare to find professional wait staff in any restaurant in San Diego but Justin was on it. 4 adults and 1 child were in our party. We had 2 orders of 8 oz filet, 1 aged New York, one scallops and 1 fish dish. Everyone raves about their main course. We had asparagus side dish that was cold and over cooked, my garlic fries were very good and a gigantic baked potato was good. We had a total of 5 glasses of wine tanging from $15 to $18 a glass, 2 bottles of Voss and it was all between good and very good. No dessert was ordered. Total bill with tax and tip was $400, after our dining discount card applied. It was pricey but my filet was the best tasting meat Ive had in a very long time.

We just love Island Prime.
This is one of our favorite location to eat. We go at least every two weeks. The service is amazing the food is amazing, Debra is the best chef !!
I take different friends here all the time. It is always 100% pure joy & happiness

Our table was ready early and we loved the pop over bread. Very unique bread option. Excellent wine list and food options. I especially liked the salmon dish.

Beautiful views and intimate atmosphere. Good for small and large groups.

Wonderful food , Seated at a two top so one person could not look out. A four top sat empty next to us the whole time we were there. Just as we were finishing two people we seated at that table so both could look out. Made the reservation several days ahead. Disappointed for our 18th Anniversary.

Great food (filet mignon medium rare) and nice view. We went for our anniversary and it was worth the 30 minute drive. We found public parking so we did not have to valet for $8. They charge a 4% fee on top of the bill for labor, so that is a bit annoying. All restaurants should just include this in their prices as labor is the part of overall costs in any business. They seem to want to remind guests that California is expensive by putting this fee on top. Yeah, we know this already!! Also, we did feel a bit rushed, so it was not a long relaxing celebratory meal.

The food was delicious! We had the filet mignons, mac n cheese and asparagus! Also the bread they give you is to die for! We also waited for a table by the window since it was our anniversary and it was worth the wait!

We recently spent a week in San Diego and were lucky enough to score a dinner reservation at Island Prime for our anniversary. Food, service, view were all perfect! Definitely my new favorite SD restaurant!

Very good meal in a beautiful setting overlooking the harbor.
I asked our server about the spice added to the butter that was provided with a great puff of bread— and he gave me the recipe!

$60 for a piece of beef - no sides included. Chicken was $38 and dry. $300 out the door and we are scratching our heads. But the butter is awesome and so is the view if the water

The entire experience from the valet parking though dessert was outstanding. Our table was ready on time, the waitress was extremely knowledgeable, the food was superb, service was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Thank you Island Prime for a wonderful dining experience.

Chef Debra Scott really runs a tight ship at Island Prime whether C-level on the right or Island Prime on the left which specializes in steaks. The wait staff work hard to make sure everything is as you like it and the food is creative and delicious. We went to celebrate our anniversary last Saturday and the steak was melt in your mouth and the service above and beyond with Jade our server. You never see wait staff standing around they are too busy taking care of the many customers and they do it well. We love both sides of the restaurant and go often. It is our favorite San Diego restaurant.

My only problem was that I made the reservation on Open Table. I won't do that again. I typed in C Level and they didn't tell me that C Level doesn't take reservations. Instead they just made reservations for Island Prime without telling me. I was embarrassed when my six friends arrived and it was Island Prime because that was too expensive a restaurant for most of them. I wound up picking up the tab for the wine ($72 and tip $80) to keep their costs down.
I don't want to fault Island Prime for that but who do I blame? It should be crystal clear on Open Table that that they are making reservations for a different place if you ask for C Level.
Jade was our server and she was great.

Wonderful evening! We all had filet mignon (three of us got the trio) and all agreed it was one of the most delicious meals we have ever had! We shared side orders of asparagus and mushrooms which were also yummy. Our steaks we're all prepared perfectly, and every bite was flawless. The sides were enough for everyone at the table to enjoy. We even had enough leftover sides to make a breakfast frittata the next day!

Rosanna was our server, and she did an excellent job. We felt cared for and welcome. She was very attentive without being intrusive at all.

The atmosphere and the view are incomparable. It was a pleasure to share this gorgeous location with my sister who was visiting from the east coast.

There were three in our party. We all had one type of steak or another. Steaks were very good. We split a twice baked potato, which was delicious and more than enough to feed all of us. We also ordered onion rings and green beans to share, all were very good. The view is gorgeous as we were seated by a window overlooking the water. I would definitely recommend Island Prime, however would caution friends by saying its quite expensive. We’re from Chicago and have eaten at many fine steakhouses and this one ranks up near the top for price.

The restaurant is beautiful and so are the panoramic views of San Diego. It was a perfect location for our wedding anniversary dinner. The appetizers and side dishes we ordered were delicious, but the entrees were not terrific. The whole fish with pesto sauce was a bit overcooked so it was dry, and the Snake River ribeye steak was overdone as well (my husband ordered it "very rare"). However, our server, Josh, and his manager were extremely apologetic and jumped into action. They replaced the steak immediately, which was cooked much more to his original order preference. 2 thumbs up for the ambiance, staff and management!
