   Outstanding breakfast food! Homemade pop tarts that put the pop tarts at Ted's Bulletin to shame. I mean under the table, shame. The fried chicken and cornmeal waffles were great. Don't second guess the cornmeal waffles, try it, it's good! My husband enjoyed the crab omelette. He's from Baltimore, so of course he enjoyed it. Also, they make real fried potatoes. I can't wait to go back! IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN, GO TODAY, TOMORROW, JUST GO SOON.

    Great place and great food. Got to have their version of homemade pop tarts. Took family just before Christmas. Place was hopping and loud so conversation was challenging. Great experience overall

    We had tickets for a concert and wanted to try this restaurant for a second time. For the most part it was good. My husband ordered the chicken parm meal. The first chicken breast he had was dry but the second was juicier. My chicken bennie was good—chicken moist, poached egg perfect but the home fries were mushy and not worth eating. We would have shared the dessert of key lime “cobbler” if we had known how much there was to it. Way too much graham cracker for the dessert. I was disappointed that our beverages were never refilled. That’s one of my standards in determining service. I shouldn’t have to ask for a refill of water.

    We have been to Iron Rooster multiple times over the last several years and it’s an okay place. The food is fine, but nothing to write home about. Service is meh. There are better food options in Annapolis that I would pick over Iron Rooster.

    We had a great experience at the Iron Rooster. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was great! From the manager checking on our table multiple times and engaging our little guy as well the waiter ensuring that we had everything we needed. We will certainly be back and soon!

    My fiancé has been talking about coming here for some time and I wanted to surprise her with a trip. Everything was lukewarm, from the crab dip to the burger. To drive a hour and a half out of our way and pay what we paid, wasn’t worth it. My fiancé and I want to to believe as much as we could that this day was a fluke for them but I don’t believe we’d go back.

    Our server was really nice and the spicy margarita was top notch. I like this place for breakfast but the vibe isn’t there for dinner, the place was nearly empty but we were sat at a 2-top near the service station and ppl kept banging the back of my chair. We ate different items but both had intestinal distress about 30 mins later, and had to finish date night early and head home.

    We drove 2 hours from south central PA to try Iron Rooster and were not disappointed!! I loved the crab hash and pumpkin RoosTart; my boyfriend enjoyed the panini and crab dip. It was a gorgeous night to eat outside too. Wonderful service as well! We will be back!

    They seated us in the bar area. Our server was very good but the food was mixed. Some dishes (fried green tomatoes and chicken and waffles were really good) and the others not so much (shrimp and grits and cakes on cakes). I would return knowing what to order now.

    I can't say enough good things about the Iron Rooster. It is located in beautiful waterfront Annapolis in a warm an inviting historic building. The staff were super pleasant and attentive, all the dinners we ordered were extremely delicious, and the bill didn't break the bank. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful meal out.

    Iron Rooster lives up to its high Trip Advisor rating, from our experience. Comfortable, pleasant outdoor seating, sheltered from the wind, with a view of the harbor. Very creative menu, fresh food that is well-prepared. My wife raved about her entree (a dish containing crab, corn fritter and fried green tomato), which of course made life easier for me (having chosen the restaurant). The Iron Rooster joins the short list of our "go-to" restaurants in Annapolis.

    I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and my spouse had the salmon dinner. Salmon was good but the chicken sandwich was terrible. It was two tiny pieces of fried chicken that was way over cooked and may have been a tough old rooster instead of juicy southern fried chicken.. very disappointing.

    Great food! Awesome service from a new employee. First time trying this restaurant. We will be back. Love the outdoor seating space—flower boxes are beautiful. I got the crab hash and my husband the salmon. Will be back to try the pop tarts and more.
