I had brought a friend who had never been. Her comment was, "you don't even know that you've been eating bad Italian until you have good Italian. This is great!"
Exceptional service. Great food and ambience. Our waiter had an exceptional knowledge of the menu and is one of the only times I've actually received helpful tips on how to best enjoy my food. The food was the best Italian food I've ever had!
As always it was excellent service and good food, we drove 2hours just to have dinner!
My girlfriend and I only just discovered Iozzo’s about 3 months ago but ever since we have dined there for my birthday, her birthday & another casual occasion. This has become one of my favorite go to spots to eat in Indy.
Service was impeccable. The toasted raviolis, fantastic. While I wasn’t the biggest fan of the veggie cannelloni, which was no fault of the restaurant, everything else and the rest of my family’s meals were wonderful. If we’re ever back in Indy, we’ll be stopping by again.
Wonderful neighborhood Italian restaurant
Our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and very knowledgeable about all the food and drinks. He did a great job recommending food selections. The short rib pasta and gnocchi were amazing. Don’t skip the donut dessert. Amazing!
Food and service were amazing!
Everything was excellent. They were out of spumoni ice cream, which was a little disappointing, but the rest of the visit was stellar.
Good and service was fantastic as always. We love this south of downtown institution!
Iozzo's is the go to place for any occasion! Great food, great people in a wonderful setting.
the food was exceptional and the drinks are perfect...ill be back many times
We celebrated my in-laws birthdays last night and everything was fantastic! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and our server was awesome! Can’t wait to go back again!
We had a fabulous experience at Iozzos for our anniversary We sat in the garden, which is the place to be while the weather is still nice. Our server Kathleen was excellent and gave suggestions that were right on the money. We had the fetticcine alfredo and chicken parmesan, which were both excellent. The drinks are top notch as well, enjoyed the manhattan, old fashion, wine with dinner, the chocolate martini and irish coffee. Desserts rocked as well. Great special occasion restaurant.
Great good, fantastic drinks and very friendly atmosphere!
The service and food were both excellent. We ate in the outdoor patio which is delightful. It is a cozy set up with propane heaters, so quite comfortable in the early evening on a cool October day. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was outstanding. All of the food was terrific.
A very pleasant experience. Excellent food and wonderful service. A special place for us.
Service was excellent, food was tasty. Very nice place for an Italian meal.
Second visit and brought friends. Hostess and server were great. Had the guanciale special and chicken piccata. Everyone was happy with their selections.
We absolutely love Iozzo’s!
Everything was great! Please bring back the steak and Gorgonzola gnocchi!!!
Best Italian meal I've ever had. We came on a Saturday night, so the wait staff was busy. Be prepared to relax and enjoy the romantic atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lasagna and chicken masala were amazing! (Not sure you can beat homemade pasta.) Looking forward to our next visit.
We came for our anniversary and everything about Iozzo's was as special as reason we came! Will definitely dine there again.
Always great food. It seemed like the portion sizes were smaller than we used to get but the quality was fantastic.
Great meal and great service as usual. Food was fantastic!
This was our first time to this restaurant. We had a wonderful time! The food and the service were both excellent! I highly recommend going there for a special occasion! Or just go for wine and dessert!
The restaurant has improved greatly since bringing chef Alan Onboard. His freshly made pastas are fantastic.
Excellent service and food. Will be back for sure
The stuffed dates were fabulous. I did nit care for the anchovies on the Caesar salad. Blood orange dessert was the best I've ever had.
Such a great experience. Alan Sternberg’s food is incredible. We had a great server too. It seemed like everyone was happy. There were difficult guests behind us, complaining about everything and I was so embarrassed for them. How do you come to a place rated top 20 in greater Indianapolis and act like the food isn’t good? So that was stupid but it was really great. The tiramisu cheesecake was prolly the best dessert I’ve ever had. I wanna make one but I know I couldn’t come close! The value was good too- we spent under $100 for 2 and we ate every course!!! So that was cool too. Hopefully I get to go back.
I really wanted to like it. But alas, it was just ok. The baked cannelloni was jus ok. The carbonara was slightly better and there was a short rib pasta that was probably the best. Tiramisu cheesecake was pretty bland and the pasticcera was only slightly better. Bottles of wine are on sale on Tuesdays, the day we went.
Our favorite place to celebrate special occasions. The service is always spectacular, the food is exceptional, the overall feel of the restaurant is perfection. Every bite is bursting with delicious flavor (omg, like how do you make a simple salad taste that amazing?)! We are never disappointed and are always excited to go back.
Meal started off great! The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Appetizers (fried ravioli and seafood special) were excellent. Wonderful dipping sauce to accompany the bread, although the bread itself was just average. Main course (pasta with truffles) was a bit disappointing, because the delicate flavor of the truffles was overwhelmed by too much salt. The biggest disappointment was the cannoli. Neither the filling nor the shell was especially good.
Wonderful place to eat and drink so many great choices on menu
My salmon was overdone. The tiramisu cheesecake was like rubber. My husband’s pasta was very light on the mixed shellfish.
We were really disappointed food was not warm and the ravioli was dry and tough! Not normal high standards of Iozzo’s
Our server Nikki was excellent, friendly and professional. We missed
Dana our server usually, but Nikki was great too!
Our first time at Iozzo's treating our granddaughter to a meal off campus and we loved it. Will definitely return when visiting Indy in the future.
