   The food was excellent, staff very friendly but it was completely empty bar one other table on a Saturday night. A real shame for them, we did ask but they couldn't really offer an explanation. I would recommend Ink to anyone for the tasting menu and I hope they get more customers.

   We booked a place for 9pm. The Chef call us around 7 to say that the tasting menu would be change a bit. Wearied there in time, the location is very hard to find, the restaurant was empty and cold. The manager bring us the menu that it was really simple,a 5 course menu with a wine pairing. The food started coming very quick because the chef was impatient to leave the place ( as the manger confidentially said to us at the end of our dinner). The first starter was an heritage tomatoes salad.. The problem was that there weren't any heritage tomatoes but just cherries with a foam on top. The second starter was fish ( literally less than a bite) covered with pealed cucumber. The mains as well weren't really impressive, but the pork belly at least had some flavour. The best ( or worst) part can with the desert. Deconstructed cheesecake : two spoons of cream cheese with a raspberry on top and broken digestive biscuits. The bill was outrageously exaggerated, and the service itself, very poor, was charged for 15 pound. The atmosphere, on the other hand, is really nice. I would not recommend this restaurant for any dining experience, especially a tasting menu so poor in flavour and different textures.

   I've been here twice, and enjoyed creative and delicious food on both of the time. The combination of wine and food is very selective. Especially like the environment with being relaxed and friendly. Will definitely go again!

   This is the second time I've been to ink and I've loved it both times. A bit off the beaten track, but worth the effort. There are very few places that could hold a candle to this one. The atmospheric setting and supremely tasty food make this one of my favourites in London.

   Fabulous fish and sweet cheese courses. This was our 4th dinner at INK and the quality of food and service has been consistently superb. Such attention to detail, intensity and delicacy of flavors, artful presentations!

   Ink is hard to find. I only knew it was there because I live in the nearby block of flats. However, it is easy to get to once you know where it is, and well worth a visit. The service was friendly and unobstrusive. The food was excellent - the flavour combinations were interesting and the ingredients high quality. The restaurant has a pleasant view over the canal and Mile End Ecology Park.

   The food was as usual imaginative and interesting. It is always beautifully presented. This is a one in a million restaurant - we keep coming back...

   Wow. This is a Find-and-a-half!!!! We were tipped-off about INK by a Chef friend, and we are now extremely grateful to him! I have been eating out in London for nearly 20 years and have tried most of the "usual suspects". I can honestly say that the Food Served to us at INK the other night is the best i have ever had in London. The Flavours, the ingredients, the skills, the preparation are all top-notch. The main thing is the Innovation!!! INK appears to be run by just 2-3 people, and the attention to detail is Amazing. There is real Pride here. How it works: You pay £50 for a 5-course "tasting" menu including 3 glasses of excellent wine. You will not be "stuffed" but you will be full and satisfied. This is proper dining. Everything has been chiselled to perfection. Each dish is very special, and you won't believe how such life-changing food keeps coming out of that small kitchen!!! The 2nd 'starter' of Shaved Daikon "Pappardelle" with Pickled herring, Sea Trout Caviar, and Yogurt was a delightful surprise, and a perfect palate cleanser before the warm savoury dishes. The Pork Belly 'main' was perhaps the tastiest, most satisfying food i have ever put in my mouth!!!! The combination and build-up of dishes was exceptionally skilled. The Seasoning was perfect, and we didn't need to drink gallons of water afterwards (like with so many places due to over-salting...) Particular praise for their specific choice of Argentine Torrontes, which was truly sublime. Opening Prosecco was very very good, as was the French Pinot for the 'mains'. So many Wonderful flavours and "lightbulb" taste-combination moments. Thank You and keep up the Beauty!!!

    Food was absolutely phenomenal. We ordered the 5 course tasting menu which included two glasses of wine each which was paired by the manager for the tasting menu. Not only was the food delicious, the courses were all very different; filled with texture and unique flavors. The price was unbeatable at 50 pounds per person. A top notch experience.
