We went for the set menu and it was ok for the price we paid (£15) but it was average and the service was almost non existent.

Just wow. The food was absolutely amazing, great choice and we loved everything we chose. Was definitely waddling to the gig!

The food was great, and the portions were generous on most of the meals. We really enjoyed our stay there, and we would recommend this to anyone.

This is a place where I've not bothered to eat the meat dishes the past couple of visits. Not because they aren't great but, because the vegetable dishes are so, so yummy, I just want to fill up on the daal and aubergine mash. Service is always polite and efficient.

My husband and I had a really nice meal at Imli. The range of food on the menu was good and we particularly liked the tandoori paneer and smoked aubergine. The service was was great- prompt and attentive whilst also being unobtrusive. I'd told them in advance it was my husbands birthday so they gave him a dessert with a candle in it!

Always eating at Wahaca whenever we go to London, this time the wife and I decided on an Indian...From the minute we walked into this awesome building we knew that we had made the right choice...I had read a few reviews on Imli Street and some had criticised the customer service, I myself can't praise them enough...Amazing, friendly, helpful staff...amazing food...amazing value...

we ordered way too much food, i'd say the rice is enough for 2, especially if you're having naan as well (you get 4 slices). the peshwari with mango was really nice (no raisins :) ) and all the main dishes (chicken biryani, lamb rogan josh and chicken murgh, we went traditional british, not adventurous) were brilliant. lamb melted away, so tender, and flavours were excellent. we were allowed a doggy bag to take home the leftovers, one weird thing was the raita was poured in with the rest of the food though even though i'd asked just for the dishes together - made it all a bit strange the next day! was quiet on a tuesday night, no need to book though we did. the waiter came and topped up our water constantly which was great. still getting used to london prices so was a lot by my standards but in general london terms was probably good value for money!

Imli serves really tasty and original food, I regularly eat there. I would like to see beer by the pint though as drinks can become quite expensive when ordering bottles of beer. Service is pretty swift, and there is a nice bar to wait for friends before eating. Ambience is good and not too formal which I like.
