Went there for lunch on a Sunday and it was a nice and quiet setting. Beautiful scenery. The seared Ahi sandwich and the fish and prawn salad- both were fresh and amazing! Service was friendly and prompt. Would definitely come back.

well, I was looking forward to the buffet, but upon entering, I saw a bird taking a bath in the salad bar. When I reported it to the waiter, he said oh OK but nothing happened. So I decided to go to the menu items and thought that a prime ribeye steak and egg sounded good even though it was $60. When my steak arrived, it was a 4 ounce thin ribeye but only 2 ounces of it were edible. The rest was all grizzly. My wife's $45 chicken and waffles was way over salted and nearly burnt on the breading. I will never eat at that place again overpriced, and crappy offering.

The hostess and host who took us to our table was very welcoming. The waitstaff was so hospitable, too. The food was very delicious and way too much for Mom and I to try everything offered. The food servers behind the carving stations were so nice, too. A must try for all who visit the Ilima Grand Hyatt at Shipwrecks Kauai. Go try the Ilima Terrace!!!

It was a magical experience going to the Grand Hyatt. Can’t say enough good things about our experience there. Food was amazing and service was wonderful. The mai tia was the best I had since being on the island

I've been in Kauai for a week and I wish I could say I've had good food, I haven't. It is overpriced and for the cost of the meals, I expect perfection. Today's restaurant was average. The burger wasn't cooked to my specification and my son's order was wrong. He didn't complain, that's who he is. Find another place to spend the kind of $ we spent on an average lunch.

The Food was great. The service was not. Server did not check to see if food was good or if we needed anything else. The hostess was great.

Always a great place for us to have lunch. The view is of the oceans and the pond with the Koi and swans.
