   We really like this restaurant, having been there a few times in spite of the difficulty getting a parking space in a parking lot that resembles a bumper car rink from 50 years ago. That said, I suspect we will not be going back any time soon due to (1) the ridiculous corkage fee of $35/bottle and $70/magnum and (2) the way the manager responded when we questioned the $70/magnum on our bill. I not only brought a magnum of wine to celebrate the evening, but also opened it myself, poured it myself and even brought my own stemware (yes, I am a stemware snob...I admit it). So for the $70 charge, Il Segreto essentially did nothing. And the manager's response? "You should have checked our corkage fee before you came in. If you didn't like it, you could have negotiated with us then...or canceled." Well, Mr. Il Segreto Manager, consider my next reservation and my next reservation to hereby be canceled. You made us feel like you did not value us as customers and I'm sure there are plenty of other restaurants who feel differently.

   too many tables crammed into a small space. there isn't even room for one person to stand while checking in. one waiter walked right over us as we came in and the same one walked right over us as we were leaving. what's more important? for the guest to pass first or the empty handed waiter? food was good, but too crowded in there.
