Il Segreto
We’re seated outside so not sure how the inside was. Surprised that I was never asked if I wanted more wine. Food was very goo though
We arrived on time with our guests. There were several tables inside that we not taken, however, the hostess was so nasty and wouldn't give us an inside table. We had had our reservation for a long time and I called to reconfirm that day. The food was good, but after being treated as we were, I just wanted to finish dinner and never come back. I even told them it was a birthday, but they never brought anything to sing to.
Marvelous food. Everything was delicious.
There is a few of real italian restaurants in town, and this one is part of them.
The ambiance, the deco, the food, the waiters .... felt like in Italy.
Would recommend it 100 times !
Valentine’s Day dinner
Great neighborhood Italian.
We had a terrific perfectly seasoned al dente spaghetti and clams, followed by a juicy veal chop with sautéed asparagus. Yumm...
This birthday girl had a good time so that was most important but the food was luke warm and it was very noisy. They overcharged for some dessert that was not worth it.
Very good quality. Loved the truffle pizza and ravioli with burrata. We will be back
Love the food, the service is good. It's a convenient neighborhood location.
Coming here for years and we love the food especially the seafood pasta and spaghetti and meatballs. Our friends loved the fresh fish deboned right at the table. Service is great especially Marina. All are so welcoming
Il Segreto was great as always! The food is fabulous.
Service a little slow. They were busy but the entire took a loooong time
You will never be disappointed!! The food is magnificent.
Out of town friends visiting.
Best food! Best service!
Food and service were so awesome.
From the minute you walk in the door, this is an outstanding dining and culinary experience.
Thank you for your warm welcoming atmosphere and delicious dishes.
The restaurant is a "gem". The food and service is excellent. I believe it is slightly over priced and should be perhaps 10% lower in price.
Food was good, but the noise level was quite high and the tables were rearranged next to us while we were still seated.
Excellent food with service to match. Always look forward to the experience and end with excellent memories.
I eat at this restaurant weekly. They have amazing food. Not cheap but always good.
Excelente pastas
The waiter was the best...had our table of 6 in stiches
The food is always very good and the service is terrific.
Great neighborhood spot.
Love the place! Great food and service
The dinner was superb, waitress was exceptional. Only have great things to say about our experience.
Met friends up at Beverly Glen for a dinner. Had a great pasta, linguine with clams...And fresh baby Artichoke salad
Love everything about this place! Not the first time & deficient be my last time dining there. The service, the food everything is perfect. I usually don’t like giving reviews but I’m so impressed.
We went for a casual Saturday night couples dinner - Il Segreto was packed at 7:00 PM, so we did have to wait a few minutes for a table.
Both our servers were actual from Italy, which made the evening that much more fun and authentic! Everything was delicious- Mille Gratzie (or Gratzie Mille - As I learned last night, both are correct, it just depends on what part of Italy you’re from....
Food is outstanding. Wine is outstanding. Loved my waiter. Honest and full of good recommendations It’s a bit noisy so hard to have a conversation when dining with someone you haven’t seen in a while.
Understaffed, no manager. Waited forever for food
Amazing food! One of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles
Really cozy friendly neighborhood restaurant with excellent Italian Mediterranean food
So good! Marina makes the restaurant! Food is amazing
Our favorite Italian restaurant! We come here once a week and have enjoyed every meal we have tried. It’s a hidden restaurant but the food is amazing! The service is great, everyone is friendly. The restaurant is a neighborhood gem. It has a nice variety of foods from pizza to salad to fish, chicken or beef dishes. The veal Milanese and saffron risotto are fantastic! Must try them!
The noise level is unbearable
As much as I love the food I will not go back
What a disappointment -an Italian restaurant that cannot cook pasta. Three of us went there for dinner. We started with their fried calamari which were delicious-small crunchy calamari & zucchini slices- a wonderful combination well prepared.
Alas, what followed was a disaster. I ordered the mixed seafood in the white wine sauce. I was served a bowl of pathetically over cooked bits of shrunken shellfish -totally unidentifiable -is it a scallop, or a clam or a mussel? Who knows? On overcooked pasta-totally disgusting & inedible. When I sent it back I ordered the bolognese which both of my guests had ordered. What arrived was a very tasty sauce on very, very overcooked pasta. When I asked my guests about their dinners they both confirmed that their pasta was pretty mushy too. Surely they can do better. This was a big disappointment.
Food and service was very good. Noise level was horrible. Very difficult to hold a conversation.
Wonderful menu and impeccable service. Noise levels a little loud so be prepared.
Excellent authentic Italian - the food is as good as any Italian spot in LA -
