The waiter was the best...had our table of 6 in stiches
The food is always very good and the service is terrific.
Great neighborhood spot.
Love the place! Great food and service
The dinner was superb, waitress was exceptional. Only have great things to say about our experience.
Met friends up at Beverly Glen for a dinner. Had a great pasta, linguine with clams...And fresh baby Artichoke salad
Love everything about this place! Not the first time & deficient be my last time dining there. The service, the food everything is perfect. I usually don’t like giving reviews but I’m so impressed.
We went for a casual Saturday night couples dinner - Il Segreto was packed at 7:00 PM, so we did have to wait a few minutes for a table.
Both our servers were actual from Italy, which made the evening that much more fun and authentic! Everything was delicious- Mille Gratzie (or Gratzie Mille - As I learned last night, both are correct, it just depends on what part of Italy you’re from....
Food is outstanding. Wine is outstanding. Loved my waiter. Honest and full of good recommendations It’s a bit noisy so hard to have a conversation when dining with someone you haven’t seen in a while.
Understaffed, no manager. Waited forever for food
Amazing food! One of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles
Really cozy friendly neighborhood restaurant with excellent Italian Mediterranean food
So good! Marina makes the restaurant! Food is amazing
Our favorite Italian restaurant! We come here once a week and have enjoyed every meal we have tried. It’s a hidden restaurant but the food is amazing! The service is great, everyone is friendly. The restaurant is a neighborhood gem. It has a nice variety of foods from pizza to salad to fish, chicken or beef dishes. The veal Milanese and saffron risotto are fantastic! Must try them!
The noise level is unbearable
As much as I love the food I will not go back
What a disappointment -an Italian restaurant that cannot cook pasta. Three of us went there for dinner. We started with their fried calamari which were delicious-small crunchy calamari & zucchini slices- a wonderful combination well prepared.
Alas, what followed was a disaster. I ordered the mixed seafood in the white wine sauce. I was served a bowl of pathetically over cooked bits of shrunken shellfish -totally unidentifiable -is it a scallop, or a clam or a mussel? Who knows? On overcooked pasta-totally disgusting & inedible. When I sent it back I ordered the bolognese which both of my guests had ordered. What arrived was a very tasty sauce on very, very overcooked pasta. When I asked my guests about their dinners they both confirmed that their pasta was pretty mushy too. Surely they can do better. This was a big disappointment.
Food and service was very good. Noise level was horrible. Very difficult to hold a conversation.
Excellent authentic Italian - the food is as good as any Italian spot in LA -
Excellent dining due to the menu selections/specials, service ambience. Quality has remained outstanding since opening.
Great pasta and sauces. The pasta alla Norma is one of the best in town and the Bolognese sauce is excellent. We had the frito misto as an appetizer. The calamari, shrimp and scallops were fried perfectly as were the zucchini slices which came with it. This visit we sat outside which was quite lovely since we could all talk and hear each other which is sometimes not possible inside on a crowded night.
Very good service. Food was served promptly and was tasty. Nice outdoor eating area, low noise level, easy access for those with disabilities.
I have been here with friends and the food has always been great. It can get a bit loud inside but the noice is moderate in the patio.
Always great food Excellent Service reasonable parking
This has been one of our favorite Italian restaurants for many years!
Not one dish we ordered registered as fresh in any way. The best thing to have at the restaurant is the bread and nothing else. The prices are ridiculous and what you pay for tastes like it cam e out of a can.
great food, always a great place to be. A pleasant environment and a great place to spend time with friends
One of my favorite neighborhood spots. Consistently good, but never mind blown.
From the first day it opened this has been a rare find to dine for any occasion. It is welcoming, comfortable, a menu and wine list that give a variety of choices, the service is enhances the meal.
Enjoy the experience.
Il Segreto has become our ‘go to ‘restaurant! Food is always terrific as is the staff. Delicious Italian healthy options!
One of our favorites in LA.
Food and service were terrific. We will return for another dinner soon.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal: raw artichoke and arugula salad, grilled peach and burata salad, porcini mushroom papardelle, and veal Milanese (totally greaseless and delicious). $25 corkage.
Excellent food and service, very nice atmosphere (especially in the quieter, smaller, upstairs area).
The food and service at Il Segreto are always amazing. It’s very difficult to get in on a weekend without a reservation.....so plan ahead.
How lucky are we? A great restaurant “up the hill” with delicious food and great service.
Amazing food and service !
Always enjoy coming to Il Segreto for a cozy dinner. Service is great and the food delish.
Love this restaurant! Warm, friendly, competent staff who welcome you into their “home”. The food is excellently prepared and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!
Been here before really enjoyed it. Was very disappointed this time. Maybe they changed the chef.
