   Second time visiting this restaurant/facility...food and service were as excellent s the first time, and our waitress/server was even better than the first visit! This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Roseville and we'll definitely be returning again!

   I’ve always loved IL Fornaio and understand all restaurants have certainly had their challenges, since Covid. The food has dropped off in flavor and presentation, it was so much better a few years ago. But, I will continue to dine there and support the restaurant in hopes things will improve. Still, no place can hold a candle to the ambiance that remains a feeling of Old World elegance! What can I say, how many places can you sit down to linen tables cloths and cloth napkins?!    Il Fornaio is one of our favorite restaurants and it never disappoints. Our waitress was kind and made our dining experience wonderful. Our food was delicious and so were our drinks.

   We had a most enjoyable dinner last evening at Il Fornaio in Roseville. We were seated right away at a wonderful table and presented with card of congratulations for our wedding anniversary - thoughtful and classy. Ryan was our server and he gave us outstanding service. The food was delicious and we were treated to a complementary dessert for our special occasion. Thank you Ryan and Il Fornaio.

   Ryan,our waiter, was great. We’ve been dining at Il Fornaio for years and this was the best meal yet! The batter on the calamari was angel wings light and tasty, the Calabrese salad was superb, the sauce on the ravioli was creamy and delicious and the caramel/sea salt gelato was terrific. A lovely anniversary dinner!

   This was our first time here, the atmosphere was nice. The service was good but unfortunately the low review is for the quality of the food and price. We started with drinks and and the Calamari. The calamari was over fried and had 0 flavor.. We ordered the Bolognese and Pesto pasta, Both lacked flavor and very disappointing. Dinner and drinks came to $180.00. We will cross ll Fornaio off our list, would not recommend.

   As usual a great Italian meal. Service excellent and appetizers served before mains (seems trivial but many restaurants have not managed this). Splitting menu items and the check done cheerfully. Usually a quiet restaurant but unfortunately a bit noisier tonight due to a group nearby enjoying a festive evening. Our favorite Italian restaurant in Roseville.
