Il Bellagio Ratings and Reviews
They did not accept the $10 prepaid credit card I received from Open Table because it was a paper printout and/or virtual card
They have never seen one like that and didn’t think it valid. I tried to explain that this is an acceptable payment but they were not willing to process it even though I explained that it will only allow this entry once.
I was very disappointed that they didn’t understand new payment methods.
Really impressed with the food. I was dining alone and asked for a quiet table. I had a later reservation (8:15) and they were able to accommodate me. Katherine (and a few other staff) were very attentive to me (water glass) without being intrusive. The lobster ravioli was outstanding and I also enjoyed the octopus salad, both were specials.
I had a dinner reservation for my husband's biryhday. We entered the restaurant and saw that they were having a happy hour and decided to stay at the bar instead. Our bartender was Lorenzo who was very nice and attentive. He explained the specials to us both and talked highly of the seafood gra Diablo which my husband loved. The happy hour was great too with some choices on food. All and all it was a great night and we would definitely go back again either for happy hour again or dinner and brunch. Loved the Italian music that was played too.
If it was cooler we would have sat outside on the patio. Love that too.
5 of us arrived with reservations and were seated immediately. 2 of us had the chicken parm and 3 of us had the scallopine portobello. The chicken parm was sauted just enough to give it a crunchy outside coating. Chicken was tender and juicy. The tomato sauce was delightful. Just the right amount of seasonings. The veal scallopine was delicious but the Marsala sauce was by far the best part of the dish. Lots of mushrooms, too. The green beans were just right, crunchy, but not too crunchy. Fingerling potatoes was served with the dish but my guests would have liked to have some pasta instead of the potatoes. They weren't given a choice. But nevertheless, they enjoyed every bite and used the bread to sop up the sauce left on their plate. Service was excellent and we would go back the next time we are in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant.
For a restaurant located in a very touristy area, it keeps to it's model of quality Italian food. Although the ristorante is not shy with its prices, you will not be disappointed. It is a class act. My only problem during our recent visit was I felt pressured to order.....to hurry up and order. Once we got past that, no one rushed us out....the table was ours for as long as we wanted. I had a pappardelle Tri Gusti (homemade pasta in bolognese sauce and fresh mozzarella.....great. My wife and I shared the Pear salad with Gorgonzola cheese. She had the Cozze Posillipo (muscles in red sauce) for her entree, our friends enjoyed the melanzane Siciliana and the Pollo parmigiana. Dessert...try the Pistachio tartufo. It was a great post-movie dinner.
Informed hostess of reservation which she replied that we were 15 minutes early didn't take a name and walked away, very rude. We decided to head to the bar to wait to be seated, hostess reappears 10 minutes later and tells us to close out tab if we want a table. The food was great and so was the waiter but hostess had already ruined the experience from the beginning. I then received an email from open table that my reservation was never confirmed even after asking the hostess twice if she needed a name for my 8:15 reservation and she stated no. Would not recommend due to bad customer service
We went to Il Bellagio with friends and our children (4 kids, 4 adults); overall we were pleasantly surprised! We had heard good things about this restaurant but coming from Montreal and Paris, we have to admit we are a little hard to impress. The food was excellent (I had the lamb chops - they were perfectly cooked and delicious) and my daughters's alfredo was very good - al dente and very creamy. My husband had the mushroom risotto and it too was perfectly cooked and delicious. We sat outside with a nice view of the fountains and the bustle of City Place. Our only complaint (minor overall) was that we ordered Aperol Spritz's and they were terrible! I think they forgot the Proseco and/or soda or just watered them down - they were totally flat. They were promptly replaced with beers but the staff tried to convince us that they were made appropriately - which is just silly given that the drink originates form Paris where our friends are from. But overall very nice and the food was really well done.
We had tickets for the comedy show at the Improv. The service and food was excellent. The restaurant was busy but our table was well spaced from other tables to allow for our romantic night out, and we were noy late for our show. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Went to Il Bellagio for a business meeting. Received a warm welcome from the hostess. Sat inside by the window. Staff is polite and attentive. Food is very good. It was a little warm, probably because of the high temperatures that have been occurring. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant....
