Iaria's Italian Restaurant
Food and service were very good. Portion sizes seemed smaller than previous visits. We had a rough crowd sitting next to us that made us slightly uncomfortable.
Everything was great as usual. Food is exceptional as is the service in the bar room thanks to Dom. We love going there knowing it will be great again.
Food and service is always great!
It does get loud in the restaurant since it is small.
Birthday dinner. Was delicious.
We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. The risotto appetizer balls were bland; the homemade Italian dressing was nothing special as was the minestrone soup; the sauce on the lasagna was off putting; and the Marsala sauce was too sweet. When you compare prices, the Italian food at Carrabbas, a chain restaurant, is superior and you don’t have to pay for your bread there. The service was excellent, though. Glasses were kept filled and dirty dishes were removed promptly. While the servers were friendly, this is not enough reason for us to return for another meal.
Amazing. Other Italian restaurants cannot compare. This was our first time here and the experience was amazing.
Good food and a lot of it for the price.
So good. We really enjoyed everything about the place.
This is classic American Italian food and vibe. Mom and pop. Nothing more, nothing less. Perfect! It's a casual, family friendly establiment. It's the basic white tee of restaurants.
The ambiance was nice and the service was great.
We had a reservation at 6 p.m. and were seated immediately when we arrived. Service was a little slow initially to get our drink orders but the restaurant was busy. The portions were large and great value for the price you paid. Our waitress got a part of our order incorrect but fixed the issue within 3 minutes and the right dinner was brought out to us. On top of that, the waitress surprised us with free dessert due to the mix up. Overall great experience and will be back!
Food was disappointing. Bread had no flavor and marinara lacked desirable seasoning. Too much dressing on the Caesar salad. Wine was good.
We had family in town and wanted to try Iaria’s. We had made a reservation and they were ready for us as soon as we walked in. Our server was very attentive and made good suggestions. The food was above average to excellent. Overall a great experience.
Great food, plan to return in near future. Noise level was high due to many customers. Low level lighting in front area. Waitress was great and helpful with items on menu.
Always a great place to eat....the eggplant and the veal, plus the blue cheese dressing for the salad as I remember from the last 30 years......so we go at least 6 times a year when we are in town.....
Food was great … parking was a little tight … service was outstanding … try the pork piccata or the manicotti .. both outstanding
Everyone loved the experience and food! We brought my mother in law here to celebrate her birthday.
Last night was the first time my wife and I ate at this restaurant. The service was exceptional and the food was superb! We will definitely be coming back.
Our server Rose was amazing! Top notch service and she was a lot of fun!
The best if EVERYTHING, They are like my Family for over 45 years. Excellent service, exquisite food, great prices. Just LOVE it there! My first choice.
Our evening at Iaria’s Restaurant was delightful. Food and service were excellent. Enjoyed my family and the great food prepared by the hardworking chefs and cooks in the back, then served by knowledgeable and attentive servers. Everything was great. Please let the people behind the scenes know there efforts are appreciated!
Service was good and prompt but seemed a little overkill. Someone came to our table seemed like every 5 minutes and I was trying to have a conversation and enjoy wine
Everything about this restaurant was excellent. We loved it!
Food was good. Service fine. Noise level was so high that couldn't hear our own conversation at the table. Same at a previous visit.
I love Iaria’s. Have been there for lunch many times but this was my first time for dinner. As usual, the food was excellent and service was good.
We enjoy the Devour Indy. excellent way to sample new menu items. The red sauce is great.
Happened to be there during Devour Indy and really enjoyed the special menu options. Coming into the dining room is like being in Gramma’s kitchen where the smells are wonderful.
Poor food. Chicken parm wasn’t cooked all the way. Good bread.
The best Tortellini I have ever had! If I didnt live 2.5 hours away I'd come back as often as I could! Great atmosphere and great prices.
we were seated at 5:40 our server welcomed us took our drink orders. A Family came in and sat down at table next to us the server gave them 100% of herself, took there food order brought them there soup and salad and never came back to our table to take our order or bring our drinks. At 6:00 we got up and left after letting the host know why.
Best Italian food as always, I moved out of town and haven’t been back in a couple years. Four of us had different items from the menu and everything was awesome!!
Good food, good service and a must stop when we are in Indy
Wonderful Italian restaurant. Sat outside on a beautiful summer evening. Great pizza, great service
Very, very good food! Greet service & a fair value for the meal provided.
Food was out quickly and tasted very authentic Italian. Salads are amazing as well as great pasta dishes!
It was “MEH” neither good nor bad. The food was good but the cheese inside my tortellini was cold so I didn’t enjoy it. The bread was mediocre and the olive oil served with it was tasteless. The service was terrific. The cannoli was excellent. I also enjoyed the spicy risotto balls served as an appetizer. The atmosphere was basic. I just didn’t find a need to return.
We hadn't been back for about 13 years. Was worth going back. Fantastic. Good old fashion Italian family food.
Every time my wife and I decide to have a date night downtown we choose Iaria’s. It’s great authentic Italian food, excellent atmosphere, and reasonable service. I personally always got the baked lasagna while my wife prefers the Ricotta stuffed tortellini in their creamy red sauce with two meatballs. I’m really glad we found this place and the fact that the business has been around close to 80 years speaks to the quality of experience you get at Iaria’s.
We had a really good experience. The food was great, service was great, and we didn’t have to wait a long time for food or drinks. It’s been that way every time we go. We appreciate having Iaria’s close by. It’s perfect if you want an authentic, old school Italian restaurant experience.
