We have been to Husk several times and it never disappoints! From the hand crafted drinks to the appetizers and entrees, you can’t go wrong! The wait staff always has honest and great recommendations on both the food and wine to pair! We will continue to return as we have a stellar experience each time.
Great place! Food was delicious and service was incredible. We go to Husk every year on our anniversary and are never disappointed!
Amazing experience. The service was warm and friendly and the food was outstanding.
Food was great, the setting is beautiful, but the decor lacked the same charm. Chairs and curtains would benefit from a refresh.
The staff were friendly and accommodating and our food was delicious.
Husk was great! The staff was amazing at accomodating the people in our party trickling in and still somehow managed to have everyone eating at the same time. Everyone loved their food and drinks! Everything felt fresh and the menu felt more imaginative than a normal brunch!
Can’t say enough good things. Was excited to try this place since we missed it in Savannah. We secured a Sunday brunch reservation and it was outstanding. We had the deviled eggs, the smoked trout bagel, the fried chicken and the coffee cake. They were all wonderful especially the smoked trout bagel and the deviled eggs. So fresh and artfully plated. Would love to go back again next time we visit Charleston or Savannah for dinner. I also recommend the rum tea punch. Tasted like peach iced tea and not too strong tasting. Service and ambiance also amazing.
Exceeded my expectations and those expectations were high!
The ambiance and staff were lovely. The food was 10/10, delicious! The hostess needs to work on her manners.
Although the menu looks great on paper, the presentation and flavor is bland and leaves much to be desired. I was very excited to try the restaurant as it always gets amazing reviews. Server was nice and pleasant and ambience was good, however the food doesn't add up. I live in Charleston and frequently visit many of the restaurants and this was probably the most disappointing meal I have had in some time. I am not a judge on Top Chef or Chopped, but both my wife and myself consider ourselves to be knowledgeable about food and restaurants. We were even joking throughout the meal that we were being "punked" and the staff was going to come and say "got you" and provide us with their real dishes. We ordered 4 apps and 2 entrees so I feel we got a sense of their dishes. However, I appear to be in the minority in my feelings and am confused on how everyone else loves this restaurant. Maybe it was a very off night.
The food was excellent service was great and we ran into several people that we had great conversation s with. All snd all a wonderful experience!!
Had a wonderful meal porkrib appitizer was the best ribs I have ever had! My husband had the fried oyster app which was also delicious. I had the catfish for my main course. It was perfectly cooked. My husband had the duck which he loved. Don’t miss the peanut butter pie with sour cream ice cream for desert! Server was excellent. Everything was delicious!!
The food was delicious and our service was great. We are on the balcony and it was a perfect setting for our anniversary dinner.
Tal and the entire Husk staff made our first visit a phenomenal experience. Excellent ambience and exceptional food. Highly recommend.
Coming into Charleston for a visit, I was told Husk was a must for dinner, and they did not disappoint. The cocktail selection was inventive and delicious. The starters (we went for both the vertical roots and and fried chicken thighs) were gobbled up with delight. We finished with the grouper and pork plates — divine!! Definitely recommended; we’ll gladly return.
Tonya was a great host , food left us speechless and the pairings were great.
Amazing meal and equally as good service, couldn’t believe how great it was. Every single thing my wife and I had was outstanding and memorable. So good!
Food was not up to the hype we had heard so much about. Disappointing experience.
Dishes ordered were lacking any WOW! factor. Overpriced and overrated. Better places to eat in Charleston.
I’m not sure if we caught the restaurant on an off night. The staff was lukewarm - no one was really smiling and the service was ok, not great. We struggled to find something that looked “standout”. We settled on a variety of apps and the grouper. We enjoyed the deviled pimento crackers and arugula salad. Other than that, the pork tacos and the grouper were overdone. You needed a knife to cut the grouper. The restaurant was very noisy and challenging to hear our table conversation.
Sat at the bar. Great service from Justin! Fine cocktails, starters, entrees, and desserts. Will return in future and when I can snag a reservation.
The food was delicious and the service was awesome!
Vacation. Everything was great. We had two children and a 2 1/2 month old and a stroller. At first we were told they didn't have accommodations for the stroller. They eventually made it work out. It seemed as though they didn't want children in the dining room, maybe the fancier part? All in all terrific service and meal!
Perfect. Service was spot-on and every dish was well-prepared.
We made reservations and showed up 15 minutes early. Despite the constant flow of customers wanting walk up seating, the hostess was very accommodating and we were seated quickly. The service was great and the food lives up to its reputation with smaller dishes and distinct flavors throughout. I’m not a huge fan of fennel but the way it presented in the North Carolina Catfish main was just right. An overall amazing meal. We will definitely be back on our next visit.
If you visit Charleston this is a must, just be sure to make reservations in advance.
Believe the hype…. Presentation and natural flavors of all the dishes we tried were outstanding, drinks were consistent, different and delicious. 5 stars.
We tried most of the items on the brunch menu and all were delicious. Our service was attentive and friendly. It was a delightful afternoon.
The quality of the food was very good! Prices were very reasonable.
We had the most amazing brunch. Every component of the meal is expertly prepared. We will definitely be returning!
Service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for friends to get together and enjoy food and conversation with no pressures. Food was good no complaints just a little bit small in portion size. For example the deviled pimento cheese bites were $14 for 6 crackers with a spread amount on each cracker the size of a Hershey kiss. Tasted excellent but very small for the price. However the main courses were an appropriate meal size for the price. Locally sourced items and unique takes on them make Husk an experience in itself.
Food quality has plummeted since departure of Sean Brock- sorry to say this as it was always a favorite of ours. The waitress had an attitude and was uninterested in being there. But the food- man, it used to be SO much better.
The duck was amazing! Great drinks and service. Highly recommend.
Great night on the patio. Best date spot in town. The drinks were great as were all of the firsts
Everyone from the hostess to our server was pleasant and courteous. Our food was outstanding, especially the heritage pig & the lemon cake!
Great food and great service. The servers recommendations were spot on for drinks, food, and dinner wine.
This meal was exceptional and lived up to all of the hype I’ve heard about Husk. We were there for brunch and I can’t wait to go back someday for dinner.
I’m actually speechless, the entire experience was amazing. Just wonderful.
Great drinks (get the 1792 Dragoon Punch), great food, great atmosphere.
Menu never disappoints!!! Always great service and on point. We had 4 different dishes and everyone was superb!!
Amazing food, lovely experience, wonderful service.
We had a wonderful meal! I was particularly fond of the Four Roses flight and how it paired with the pork!
