   Steaks a little dry. Pasta a little under cooked. Fish dish needed a little more sauce. Clams were great.

   Our server Renee was outstanding, friendly and made us feel special. From start to finish she had us taken care of in the most hospitable way. The food was good, not great. Also, don’t know why a lovely delicate kefir rice was paired with cajun seasoned fish- after a few bites couldn’t tell the difference. Atmosphere is magical. Try dining at sunset. Just stunning. Cocktails meh.

   Too loud, waitresses was not attentive to our table. Food was ok but in my opinion over priced.

   We have eaten here several times and it’s gotten worse each time. My wife and son have a gluten allergy which is always carefully explained and wait staff and hostess and given specific details about what can and can’t happen. The past 3 dining experiences almost led to catastrophic health issues if not for us noticing bread included with a gluten free meal or at the last minute an assistant to the server grabbing the dish off the table before my wife took a bite of regular pasta (not the gluten free pasta ordered). Sadly this was probably our last time at Huggos which had been our favorite restaurant on the island. The lack of care and mediocrity might be fine for some but it’s not good enough for my family and their health...

    We had the kahakai and was drowning in broth couldn't taste the fish or hearts of palms. Over priced for food. Took long time to get food. Best seat on the beach though breaking water on rocks and sunset. Huggos on the rocks better value. Drink and watch sunset
