   Honu’s Thanksgiving Buffet had a lot of choices. Most were very good. The live music was a nice touch. Price was pretty high even for a special buffet.

   Seafood buffet had very good food ( prime rib was just ok) and variety including snow crab legs which were excellent. Clam chowder was outstanding. Rather pricey but overall a good choice for a vacation meal.

   Made reservations but had to wait a while for table. The food was ok. However the prime rib was not hot. By the time I got to my seat I noticed the oil/fat had already turned white. I enjoyed the clam chowder and tempura.

   We went to the roast beef/crab leg buffet. We waited long past our reservation time to get seated. Then they had just one server on both pasta and roast beef, so the roast beef line built up. And then they ran out of roast beef halfway through our dinner.

Waiting past your reservation time and encountering staffing shortages at the pasta and roast beef stations are not the standards we aim to uphold. We’re especially sorry to hear that the roast beef ran out during your dinner. This is not acceptable, and we will address this with our team to ensure better planning and service in the future.    Very overpriced buffet on Friday nights. Prime Rib was more like a beef roast, lots of crab legs, shrimp were good on the salad bar, the ones next to the prime rib have a deep fried coating. All in all for $75 each it was a very mediocre buffet. Also the bar tender had to learn how to make a Manhattan which took forever. We won't be back.

   The overall experience was good. As a vegetarian not a whole lot of choices but if you enjoy meat and seafood I would say this is a good spot. Love the dessert selection though.
