This is a great place and the food was very well done. The service was excellent and the server was very informative and attentive. I would strongly recommend dining here!
Excellent service, good food, and reasonable prices for Las Vegas.
Food was nicely prepared with authentic ingredients. The BBQ pork buns especially were delicious, very fluffy and fragrant. Service was quietly professional.
Nice place and food were excellent.
Absolutely delicious. Wonton soup is amazing.
I think the food is average but the price is way too high when compared to fine dining.
We had an amazing waiter who provided exceptional service. The food was really tasty and came out super fast. Will def be back.
Just wanted something authentic and simple for lunch and they delivered it with speed and courtesy. Great experience!
Great place to bring friends and family. Wait staff was great. Food was also great.
Excellent, I had the pad thai and it was outstanding! It had a little kick to it that was perfect! Highly recommend!
It was a peasant experience & nothing really stood out!
The Hong Kong cafe does a great job of serving REAL Cantonese food. The Szechuan chicken is absolutely the best rendition of this dish outside of Kowloon! This is now a definite stop for me EVERY TIME I will be in Vegas!
Good value, dependable service, good variety, above average quality.
We wanted to enjoy our dinner but honestly it was just kind of frustrating more than anything. It took almost twenty minutes to get water and another twenty to get someone to take our order. The food was alright but nothing to write home about or worth the cost. We also only saw our server one other time so drinks were scarce. I mean, they were nice…..so there is that. Of all the places on the strip to eat there are plenty better and I’d skip Hong Kong Cafe.
I got the shrimp fried rice and roasted duck. This food was so delicious except that I was asking for the leg but it came with the duck breast and it was just a little bit salty. My boyfriend got beef and broccoli but the beef itself was not so tasty. One server was a little bit rude but the other gentleman who brought us the birthday cake ,which was ice cream, was a nice guy.
We enjoyed our dinner at Hong Kong café! The food was very good!
food was excellent, service was good but was a bit pushy to get the order.
The best hidden during a conference at the Venetian. Will have to remember next time!
Food was good but a bit pricey for Chinese. We had multiple servers. It seemed they all work together to help out?
The server was having a conversation with another server while they were taking our order. My dinner arrived first, dropped on the table and then walked away. Called server over to say a) we never got our appetizer and b) were was my daughters dinner? We were told dumplings take longer. Okay, so then hold off putting in our dinner. Ended up canceling the dumplings - daughters dinner came out 5 minutes later. Both our entrees were warm - not hot. Food tasted good - but would have been better if hot.
Delish food in a casual setting. Service was top notch!
The Open Table review score for this restaurant is much higher than on all other sites (e.g. Yelp, Google), and does not reflect the lazy, poor standard of service and food. I have always treated Open Table reviews as a gold standard, but this was miles off.
All was good
A bit pricey for Chinese restaurant but overall recommend
Arrived a few minutes early for our 2:45 pm reservation. We were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered the appetizer sampler and pork fried rice. We were looking for a hearty snack after a day of travel and before our 6:15 dinner reservation at another restaurant. Hong Kong Cafe knocked it out of the park! The food was tasty and freshly prepared. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was perfect for our purpose. A bit pricey, but, would definitely recommend it and choose it again.
Food was excellent. A little pricey but it is the Venetian.
Great experience, the waiter was very attentive, the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Food was excellent.
It was tasty, but overpriced (maybe everything on the strip is though?) Wontons were light and flavorful, shrimp & pork dumplings were delicious! Curry noodles were pretty good. Shrimp dumping noodle soup was just ok - the dumplings were yummy but noodles and broth were bland. I’m on the fence, it was ok, just so pricey for noodle dishes.
Food was good. Service was good. Not terribly overpriced like most places on the strip that appear to be trying to make up for covid losses in a week. Lots of Asian people in there eating which is always a good sign. Only drawback was a loud Chinese lady at the table next to us yelling the whole time. It's not the restaurant's fault, but the waistaff was Chinese and could have asked her to keep it down a bit.
Food was pretty good. Some items are priced reasonably whereas others are disproportionately high. Service was okay. They didn't have all items on the menu available.
Wonderful food and quick seating with a reservation.
It was just ok. Nothing to write home about
Everything was ok, not great not bad, service was ok, forgot my refills.
Crab Ran & spring roll excellent, Really enjoyed the hot sauce on the table, beef and broccoli average w/ minimal flavor
Went here for my birthday and had a very nice time. The food was delicious and I would recommend it for anyone wanting an authentic Chinese feel and food experience.
Delicious old-school Chinese food just like childhood memories. Hong Kong style noodles with pork was amazing. Tea was just right and sesame balls for dessert. Husband really enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken.
Had lunch two days in a row. Beef tendon was excellent in both Sechuan souls as well as the pho noodle soup. Nice touch on the hand pulled noodles on the Sechuan beef noodle soup!
Great food and service.
The duck was amazing, The service was so fast, I highly recommend this place
Went here as there was no other options available at the time. Food was not up to par for the prices they charge. Never again. Venetian/Pallazzo should shut this place down.
