Seats at the bar itself are NOT able to be reserved- they are very limited and are first come first serve. If you book the bar tables on Opentable- the reservation will be for the tables in the lounge that are located behind the bar.

Seats on the patio are also NOT able to be reserved. If a reservation is made and in the notes you have requested outside or patio this does not guarantee you an outside table.

    Waiter was excellent. Restaurant overall was very quiet. All the food was excellent. Great place for a special occasion like an Anniversary or Birthday dinner.

    We dine at Hondo's regularly. This was about as bad an experience as we've ever had. First, we were seated at a table instead of the usual booth. I immediately discovered that the chairs hurt my back (recent back surgery). I asked if we could be reseated elsewhere, and the waiter said he'd check. Well, he didn't, so I flagged down the floor manager, who was also distracted. We made our way to the host station where I was curtly told no, because all the booths were reserved for other diners. Turns out that was a lie, we stared at an entire ROOM full room of EMPTY booths for the next hour until we left. Literally a wall full of empty booths that stayed empty the entire time we sat in our uncomfortable chairs. And what an ordeal it was, being waited on by a young man whose demeanor and language suggested we were at O'Charley's or Red Lobster instead of a prime steakhouse. We had to ask for steak knives to eat the lamb appetizer; when the waiter took the plates away, he took the cutlery from the appetizer plates and placed it (dripping with sauce) directly on the tablecloth. I asked for fresh cutlery, but the resulting mess on the tablecloth was unavoidable. We ordered steaks and selected sides from the five different kinds of potatoes or a bland squash medley... which was served tepid. What a horrible experience.

    We had stop going to Hondos several years ago because the food was not very good for the price, but we decided to give them another try, and the food was wonderful. One thing that We found interesting is the reservation asks if it is a special occasion, and it was, but no one said anything when we arrived or were served. Most restaurants at a minimum say “happy anniversary” or offer a treat to celebrate. They said nothing. Again, we went for the food, so just a side note!

    Every year for the past 5 years, my siblings and I celebrate each of our birthdays with lunch at Hondo's. The service and food never disappoint. Consistently great. Thanks, Hondo"s!

    Service was amazing and the drinks were even more fabulous! Amazing quality of steak and to top it off, the homemade bread and honey butter! We will definitely be back!

    It was an excellent evening with one slip up. When they came to our table to deliver our steaks, they commented how hot the plates were. While delivering another guests steak next to me, the delivery person (not our wonderful server) dumped very hot grease / butter on me and the seat. It stained my dress and there was grease / butter all over the seat next to me. He looked annoyed when I asked for an extra napkin and never apologized. It took a full five minutes for him to bring an extra napkin out to clean up the mess he made. My (new) dress has a big stain on it. The food and service by our waitress was excellent. The runners need to be more careful.
