    First time visit, wasn’t sure of what dining experience we would expect. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed. The atmosphere, quality of service and food was excellent! The waiter, Sam was friendly and very polite. Explained the menu choices and the sides to enjoy with our steak. The manager Alex was very friendly and welcoming. The menu has excellent offerings other than just steaks. The food was exceptionally delicious and hot, not lukewarm. Steaks were cooked to our satisfaction and sides were as well, not like they were sitting under a warming lamp. The caramelized onions and mushrooms were excellent as well as the creamed spinach, highly recommend both. The atmosphere and decor is luxurious and inviting with soft warm lighting. A very special place for a special occasion or event, yet one you will want to enjoy any night of great dining. We will definitely return for the fine dining experience or enjoying the happy hour. Great time.

    For lunch, my wife and I ordered a fried oyster appetizer, which is always excellent. We then each had the prime rib sandwich complemented with an au jus for dipping. This is one of our favorite entrees to order for lunch. Also, as always, excellent service!

    Memorial Day visit, using a coupon. Appetizers: Silver dollar scallops very good, came with bacon and spinach. Seafood soup tasty. Dinner: ribeye cooked perfectly, well seasoned, best part of meal. Hondo shrimp… not much to say, disappointing. Service was ok, not really at steakhouse standards. Noise from the bar was disruptive to dinner enjoyment.

    Been here for many meals over the years and the food and service is consistently excellent. Their staff always sees that every need is met and they respectfully follow up with you after you taste each course. The management also stopped by to check on us and to ensure we were well served. The food is ALWAYS excellent - my steak was cooked to perfection. The salad was fresh and properly dressed. My sides were also delicious. We will continue to come here for special nights and occasions.

    If you have a special celebration as a birthday or anniversary or just a romantic place to enjoy a wonderful meal, Hondos is your place. It's beautiful inside and the waitstaff is on pointe, professional and very nice. We just came today to celebrate our 42nd anniversary! They make you feel special!

    Steaks were okay, not great for the price. Ribs were cold and old, not fresh. Calamari breading soggy. Baked potato poor quality. Desserts just okay and not worth the price. House cut fries way undercooked, no color, white as a ghost and full of grease. Non-alcoholic beverages were good. All in all, the quality of the food was second tier and not worth the first tier pricing.

    We always go to Hondos to celebrate our anniversary. It is our favorite. This time, I think because things were a little quieter for them on this Sunday evening, we got one of the little rooms all to ourselves and it was a delight!! Our server Sam was kind and attentive but not over servicing which was great. The steaks were cooked perfectly. We were served a special dessert honoring our anniversary. A wonderful time for sure!
