Holsteins - The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Holsteins is an exciting burger concept from Las Vegas restaurateurs Billy Richardson. This concept was tailor-made for The Cosmopolitan with an emphasis on fresh, natural and organic ingredients. Holsteins brings better burgers and a funky, homegrown attitude to The Strip. The menu features specialty burgers, house-made sausage, riffs on traditional American snacks and appetizers, as well as a wide variety of shakes and sides. All items are custom crafted in-house, creating burgers unlike any other. Put an adult spin on the traditional shake with a “Bamboozled Shake”, unique flavors infused with premium liqueurs and spirits.

Had to send my medium well burger back because it wasn't done at all in the middle. For the price, I was expecting much more. Beef had very little flavor. Let's be honest. Given your burger or one from Steak N Shake, I'll take Steak N Shake every day. Wait service very efficient and professional.
Went for my boyfriends birthday. Didn’t get anything for it.
The waiter was super sweet, the menu was great, and we enjoyed everything! Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Definitely family friendly if you’re looking for a place to grab a better burger with the kiddos!
Food is good we’ve been here a couple times. It’s not a cheap burger place but it’s fun for a splurge. Shakes and sides are great! Was a bit noisy though.
Good food, nice atmosphere. Good value
I came to this place for both the deep fried coliflower and the grilled & smoked salmon burger - both items have been deleted from the menu, the server said. So I got myself some fried shrimp (not very tasty though, 2 out of 5 stars) and a mushroom/egg burger on a brioche bun which was very good although the fries (they sold separately!) were only lukewarm and I don’t like lukewarm fries at all. So 4/5 for the burger. As dessert, they only got some shakes and 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream, pretty much basic grocery store quality (2,5/5) I liked the Holstein Lager beer, tasted very “German”, 4,5/5. Service was good, the guy really did the extra mile. Would I return? Rather not. At the end of the day, it’s shrimp and burger for close to $100, decide for yourself.
The shake was great. A big chocolate chip cookie came on the side of the shake. The caesar salad was very good. The burger was also very good there. Would go back.
Our waitress, Jordan, was fantastic! She did a great job of checking on us while we grazed through the menu. Their margaritas are great as well as the Philly eggrolls. The Buffalo wings are always a must along with the onion rings. And I also love that popcorn is complementary.
The service was quick and friendly. All staff was very attentive. The food was delicious!!! I will definitely be back again!
Everyone was friendly and food was delicious. Waiter apologized for the wait time but during this pandemic we need to be understanding and patient Nonetheless we didn’t feel like it took very long for our food to arrive and the mojitos were on point and much better than the drinks at the Vesper lounge downstairs.
45th wedding anniversary. Stopped in for shakes to celebrate.
The burgers here are excellent! The drinks here were fantastic. We were very happy with everyrhing. This is a casual place, appropriate for families looking for comfort food. I love a good burger and onion rings. The fries and sauces were all delicious. The atmosphere is typical for this type of retaurant, the decor of pigs dressed like cows is very cute. There is a full bar and the specialty drink menu has some excellent choices.
Overall amazing! Decently priced for the area. Had the best waiter ever... very friendly, and very attentive to our every need! We will definitely be back!
Food and service were excellent!
Service was prompt throughout our dining experience from being seated until our bill arrived. We both ordered the Rising Sun burgers, which were delicious, as well as the order of sweet potato fries we split. I can’t say anything bad about the service or the quality of the food here. Both were very good. Our only complaints about were with the price, and the noise levels. It was so noisy in the restaurants because of the proximity to the food court and walkways, we could hardly hear ourselves talking to each other. This deterred our enjoyment of the meal, as well as the price. $18.50 for a burger with no fries seemed a little ridiculous to us. With our 2 burgers + 1 order of sweet potato fries and water to drink ended up costing us $60.00 with tip and we were still a little hungry too.
Really loud environment. Cheap food / upscale strip environment & crowd.
The service was very good and the waitress, Ariel, attentive, we were greeted and promptly attended to.
Following our starter we were asked did we want to keep our cutlery which I would of expected to be changed for clean ones.
The burger was luke warm but no reference was made to this by myself as the rest of the service had been pleasant.
The music was extremely loud and at times made conversation over our meal difficult.
The value was satisfactory for the resort comparison.
Ordered my burger medium and it came back completely red all the way thru and squishy. Food was not worth the money and we were never given our complimentary popcorn
Good food, excellent service, milkshakes were more like a desert than a drink!
Best salmon burger I have ever had! Excellent service too!
Very Disappointed! First of all the menu on Open Table is very different than the one at the restaurant. Several things are listed on the open table site that are missing in the restaurant (including my first 3 choices I was considering). In addition the menu prices on open table are significantly lower. The burger I ended up getting was $4 more in the restaurant than on the open table menu - IN ADDITION the open Table menu says you get fries with the burger. That is not the case - you pay $4 additional dollars for a very small order of fries. Really feels like a bait and switch ploy. The service was incredibly slow and the food itself was average at best. I have had better burgers in several locations in Vegas. I absolutely will not return.
The service is just ok. Food is ok, use to be good. The turkey burger was undercooked and the fries were just ok, the last few times the food was good. Service was just ok....
It was good for the price
Great food. Adult milkshakes are to die for. Casual, great service and food!
Not like the old days ! Did not feel that the burger was juicy enough and there were out of the threee beers i choose what are the Odds of that ( no pun intendED Vegas!)
Hostess was very courteous, sat us right away (we had reservations) and told us the server would be to the table shortly. Our server, I wish I had caught his name, was awesome! We ordered the cauliflower which he recommended and if I had know how good it was, I would have ordered a second one just for my meal. As always, the burgers are to die for and the truffle fries are a must every time we come. The server gave us a big box of popcorn to take back to the room along with our leftover.
Not worth the high prices.
The cheese curds made me feel that I was back at the WIsconsin State fair, and the truffle fries were to die for! Loved everything! Especially the spiked milkshakes!
My 1st time there and the food was great to the taste😊
Our experience was very nice the burgers were pretty good and the bamboozle milkshake was outstanding and quite a sight to see
My husband and I had lunch here. Dean was the BEST. He suggested the Gold Standard burger. It was great. The portions are large and very filling. Next time we are gonna have a shake. They looked really yummy.
The burgers are very average and overpriced for their quality. The burger itself tasted like they have a stash of frozen patties they use and cover up with fancy toppings. It doesn’t taste fresh at all, and for the price I expected more....spent $160 for an appetizer, 3 burgers, side salad and fries (fries don’t come with!), and 2 cocktails and 2 sodas. Very disappointing. I would have rather spent my money across the way at one of the other high end restaurants at the cosmo.
Amazing food as always! Always look forward to coming to Holsteins whenever we are in Vegas.
Delicious burgers, service was spot on, garlic and Parmesan fries were incredible and enough for 4 to share!
Service was amazing our waiter was very very attentive. The food was good but a little pricey for bugers.
The burger joint appeared good from afar but after eating, it was very overdone, even with the table service it belongs in a fast food quality of food, portions were good but very low quality.
Great atmosphere. We had hamburgers and I wasn’t disappointed. I love that they bring a small bucket of seasoned popcorn to every table.
Delicious burgers and shakes
Everything was very yummy! Burgers cooked perfectly. Great meal!
