Enjoy the popular Sunday buffet at Hoku's or in the Veranda lounge under the iconic chandeliers. Experience a new dawn of fresh and classic items such as Signature garlic and rosemary rubbed prime rib of beef, misoyaki butterfish, steamed Dungeness and Snow crab, chilled lobster tail, Mountain View Farm suckling pig, auction-fresh sashimi, and a divine selection of decadent desserts. Price per adult is $110 and child (6-12) $55, plus tax and gratuity. A 20% service charge is added to parties of 5 or more. No-show reservations will be charges the full amount of $110 per person.

Join us for an evening at Hoku's with Master Sommelier Patrick Okubo featuring Louis Jadot. Louis Jadot is renowned for its high-quality wines and grapes grown in some of the best vineyards in Burgundy. Seating will be at 6:00pm. A special 4-course tasting menu was curated to pair with some of the winery's most sought after selections. Price is 265 plus tax and 20% service charge. Menu is subject to change. Cancellations less than 72 hrs in advance will be charged 130 per person. No-Shows will be charged 265 per person.

Decided to try the Sunday Brunch for our 26th wedding anniversary. They sat us at a fabulous table overlooking the ocean. Buffet was smaller than I expected but tastefully displayed. Server was nice but not very attentive initially. After we spoke a bit she improved.

Hands down, this is the best Sunday brunch in Honolulu. It's a buffet, but there are several items you can order made fresh including an ahi poke musubi, lobster tails, and omelets. There is also a carving station witih sucking pig and prime rib. We had a table facing the ocean with a fantastic view.

The view and the ambience was outstanding. Our server Karen was a very nice person; however, her trips to our table were spotty, at best. I waited 5 to 10 minutes before anyone asked if I would like another glass of wine. The wait time between finishing our dinner and the desert offering was totally unacceptable. By the time Karen gave us the dessert menus (15 to 20 minutes), we had decided to leave and head on home. Her assistant's service and demeanor left a lot to be desired. When he "attempted" to clean our table after our appetizers, he left a dirty dish on the table. Also, when he wiped the table he removed some of the food particles but just pushed many of the crumbs towards the middle of the table. It would be helpful if someone trained him to smile and be more interactive with patrons. Regarding the food, the small seafood tower was very good. The cilantro Caeser salad was the worst Caser Salad that I have ever had. The chef blended cilantro into a pesto-like dressing that overwhelmed the taste of the salad. There were a couple of small cherry tomatoes (not ripened) that diminished the presentation. The short ribs were good, but not great. The sauce was tasty but not enough to keep the meat moist (a necessity with meat that has been slow cooked for "48-hours)." The meat eventually became dry to the taste. The "signature cabernet wine" was very average and not worth the $26 per glass that was charged. Also the option of prefix vs. a la carte menus was not what we were expecting. We could not order individual appetizers on the a la carte menu ... only choice was cilantro salad or seafood tower. Would have been nice to offer shrimp cocktail, crabcakes, or other options as well. Overall, we found our dinner experience to be extremely disappointing. Certainly not worth the $450 (tip included) that we were charged.

Dining at Hoku’s is consistently a culinary delight—an experience that engages all the senses. From the exquisite flavors to the elegant ambiance and impeccable service, every detail is thoughtfully curated. My guest from Japan and I left with full hearts and another unforgettable memory to cherish. Truly, a gathering for the books.

Amazing, Chef went over the top with his tasting menu, the foie gras with coconut was an excellent. Great service and great views made the night very special
