This place is amazing for brunch. The chicken and waffles is out of this world and pair it with a bottomless mimosa, you cannot ask for better!
Three friends joined me here for a pre-birthday celebration. We'd read mixed reviews, so went in with open minds. We went on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was not crowded at all. Some of the reviews complained of slow service. Our awesome server, Jamie, was actually the hostess, waitress, and bartender. Had it been more crowded and staffed similarly, I can understand how things could get backed up. We saw only one other employee (don't recall his name) who helped run food and refill waters. The young man was also very kind and accommodating. The food was excellent. We tried: dim sum, roasted cauliflower, ramen bowl, braised beef and braised short rib. The Sunday brunch menu looked amazing. Too bad for us, those items were not available. We are all interested in going back to give it a try.
Valentines Day..... booked the reservation with Open Table app. Very quick and simple . Easy verification process. Lovely setup inside , dim lights, sexy and chill decor. Awesome price for the portion size.
We had wonderful service and the food was great! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We loved the ambiance inside of Hiro Asian Kitchen. The beef short ribs and risotto were delicious and so was the ramen. I am very pleased with the service.
This was a great choice and Marvin our waiter was Delightful!
My co-workers and I came for brunch while in town for work. I made a reservation several days in advance b/c we had a group of 9. Other than us, there were only two to three other small tables the whole time we were there. Despite that, service was spotty. I think there was only one server working. It took a long time to get out order taken and we were never asked if we wanted a second round of drinks. The waitress is as kind enough to give us all separate checks.
In terms of food, we ordered every appetizer except the pickled vegetables. All we're good. The favorites were the chicken wings and tater toys. Those who got the chicken and waffle thought it was very good. The breakfast ramin was reported as being very bland. I had the matcha waffle which was good.
Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but wasn't anything that would bring me back.
The lobster Rangoon was delicious! I also had the braised beef. It too was excellent!
Marvin our waiter was very good in making our experience enjoyable with his recommendations and service.
Everything was amazing, service and food. The special traditional Malaysian menu was fantastic!
Great food with an abundance of tasty Asian dishes. Best I've had since I visited Asia and lived in the Philippines.
My wife and I had our five year anniversary. We wanted to try something different. This restaurant had great reviews. Marvin was our waiter, he was very personable. We also got green tea cheese cake complementary for our special day. Highly recommend the wings for a starter.
Friendly chef-owner was a pleasure to speak with--clearly proud of his cuisine, and rightfully so!
This was, hands down, one of the worst experiences that I've ever had at a restaurant. We went for a special event called "downtown restaurant week" where they had a preset 3-course menu. We sat down at 7:10 and didn't receive our appetizers until 8:45. On top of that, we only got two (of the five) appetizers that we ordered and were left in an awkward place because the remaining three didn't come out for 20 minutes. Our entree's finally came out at 9:20 and I'll admit that the food was fantastic but even that couldn't save the poor service of this restaurant. We were finally able to leave at 10:00 (3 hours later!!). 1 out of 10 would recommend this place to a friend.
Hiro's for a weekend brunch. The menu is focused and tantalizing. Their lobster Rangoon are amazing. Everything was delicious, service was excellent. Looking forward to returning soon!
