HIRO is a chic restaurant in Downtown St. Louis where guests are treated to savory foods inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asia in a beautifully decorated space.
Our Sat & Sun brunch, lunch, and dinner menus feature a wide variety of classic and seasonal dishes with something for everyone. To enhance the experience we offer a selection of exquisite wine, local microbreweries beer, and Asian infused craft cocktails.
We take pride in supporting local produce and using the freshest authentic ingredients on our cuisine. Our dessert selections are made in-house.

The waitress was very nice, but after waiting 30-40 min we found out that our ticket was never put in, so I didn't get to eat, and my friend had to take his food to go.

Very nice setting awesome background music. Food was outstanding!!! Simple yet complex flavors as each dish built on itself. Try just for the experience we had an awesome time.

The service was slow. 4 other tables, we were a party of 11 with reservations @ 7. We arrived 3 mins late, had to wait 10 mins to be seated. It was a 2.5 hour ordeal.

The food was good overall, but the main issue was the service. It seemed they were short-staffed that night. The young man working as host as well as server/pinch-hitting bartender seemed to be doing more than his best, but something was just off. It took a very long time to get our drinks (we were told the bartender was late coming in) but even later when we ordered follow-up drinks they took a long time to come or, in one case, didn't come at all. I would give the restaurant another try to see if it was just a one-night staffing issue.

I was disappointed to find out that the restaurant was closed! In the era of technology where everything is online, it was easily could have prevented. We drove 25 min to be on time for our reservation! Very disappointed.

Loved the small plates and sides - super tasty. The Cardinal cocktail is delicious, delicate and delightful to look at with an edible flower at the bottom.

I made a reservation and had to wait forever to be seated. I came for a lunch break and did not receive my food until after forty minutes of waiting. The waitress brought me out the wrong meal. A big disappointment. They also appeared to be under staffed.

Reserved for Sat., 5 pm. We were amazed; we didn’t see one other patron in the place during our stay. It was eerily quiet. The service was very good. We ordered the Rahman bowl and the Chicken hot pot. Both were tasty and well prepared. Prices are a bit high, but at least the product is good. Walked by later in the evening and the place was still almost empty—just puzzling. We might go again to try something else if there were some other diners.
