Hiro 88 is an up-scale Pan-Asian restaurant in Omaha's Old Market. Serving some of Omaha's best sushi along with award winning Chinese food we have something for everyone's palate. We offer an extensive selection of sake, wine, beer and liquor.
We can accommodate up to 25 diners in our private room and have experience with events ranging from rehearsal dinners to pharmaceutical presentations.
In addition to our dining room and lounge we also have two large patios. Both Patios have full dinner and drink service. We also have Happy Hours Monday-Friday 3pm to 630pm, and Saturday 3pm to 6pm and Reverse Happy Hour Friday and Saturday 10pm to Close and all day Sunday!!!
For groups of 8 or more we do add 20% gratuity to the check. Please specify if you will need separate checks, have children that will require a highchair, if a high top table will be acceptable, or if any guests in your party has dietary restrictions that we need to be made aware of.

We do offer off-site catering. We need at least 24 hours notice. A delivery fee of $15.00 applies as well as a minimum of 15 entrees (for delivery). For groups of smaller size, arrangements can be made for the order to be picked up. All dishes from Chinese to Sushi platters are available for catering.
Private party facilities
Our private dining area seats up to 25 diners. We have an 80" projection screen. All other audio visual equipment must be provided by the customer. The room has separate climate, lighting, and audio controls to create the perfect ambiance for your special event.

Listen, I have to give a shout out to the staff that worked the evening of March 13th! It’s not easy when there’s an event in downtown Omaha and I think half the people attending Olivia Rodrigo were here. lol Our server was phenomenal! I didn’t get her name, but as I looked around every staff member there was running their tail off to get orders and food out. I noticed a large group of “Karen’s” behind my table complaining and it wasn’t deserved. It’s a shame that people can’t read the room and have a little patience during large events or busy restaurant times. Great job Hiro 88!!

Went to Hiro before show at Orpheum. Last time we tried this was crazy and we barely made it to our seats before showtime. This was a much better experience. Food arrived quickly and cooked perfectly. We had time for a leisurely dinner and conversation.

Oh my gosh- loved the mesquite, cedar plank salmon!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Apple/cucumber side was a refreshing touch. Portion size was generous! Loved it soooo much! My husband doesn’t like salmon but LOVED it too!

The food is very good here. However, the staff did not greet us as we arrived, and we stood there in front of 4 staff members at the host desk feeling like we were interrupting their conversations. After the finally acknowledged us, the hostess was curt. The person who sat us was friendly. Our waitress was also running the bar, so she was very busy. She did the best she could.

Our server, Ruth, was absolutely welcoming, prompt and attentive. The food was excellent, as always, presented beautifully. My teenagers liked the pop music selection playing. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the dessert served was much appreciated.
