Highway Restaurant and Bar Ratings and Reviews
The worst service. I’m a regular but I cannot remember when we’ve been treated to such an obvious display of negligent and terrible service. Adam attempted to save the meal at the end but couldn’t vanquish the downward spiral of truly terrible service. The waiter even taunted our table on our way out... truly unacceptable and unprofessional. No reason to return.
My husband, myself and our 5 year old had a wonderful dinner last Friday early evening. We sat in the most comfortable and spacious booth off the bar - but it felt very private. We all loved our dinners - my husband had the steak, I had the Peking duck special & my son had a hamburger with fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and had great flavor.
We will put it as 1 of our go to places!
Loved the apps- steamed pork buns and farro salad. Main dishes also excellent. We had scallops, salmon, eggplant parmigiana.
The only just okay thing was the pie but I'm spoiled because my sons are great bakers.
I would definitely come back. Scallops were a bit pricey-$42, for only 4 of them but tasty.
Nice 'casual' hamptons decor. Friendly vibe and attentive knowledgeable waitstaff. It gets busy and noisy. Come early and there are a lot of large tables with children. Later it's crazy loud and good luck making a left onto 27 when you drive out. Food is really good. Portions tend toward the small side (works for me) but value wise...well, it's the Hamptons. Dessert ---tiramisu surprisingly good and done differently. Bouillabaisse and pasta enjoyable but not a must return.
