   High Steaks Steakhouse is an excellent place to take your significant other, group gathering or for a special occasion. The staff are friendly and quite informative. The ambience was very intimate but if you have issues reading in dimly lit areas, be aware. The prices are a bit on the $$$ side but as is at a Steakhouse, I assume. The food was phenomenal... steak was butter soft, the Elite Wagyu burger was delicious and the sides we had (Brussel Sprouts, Scalloped Potatoes) were delectable. We will return for our next concert experience at The Venue!

   We've been here many times and usually enjoy a good meal. The chopped salad was terrific as were the martinis. My wife and her friend split a New York steak and both agreed it was very good. I had the end cut prime rib....good taste but really dry. Ed cuts are well done but that doesn't necessarily mean that the meat should be like jerky. Was disappointed and will likely stick to ordering a steak next time. We also didn't receive the toffee chocolate pieces that comes with our bill.....missed that and hope it was an oversight as opposed to getting rid of the treat.

   4 for dinner. 1 crab cakes and shrimp salad, 3 steaks. All 3 steaks were undercooked. The shrimp was basically raw and sent back once. It was still raw. The crab cakes and fries were great. Veggies/sides were great. Ebon was lovely and attentive. Desserts: lemon cheesecake pretty bland. It had a white chocolate shell that had no lemon flavor at all. The rhubarb cake - everyone tasted it, no one ate it. $600.00. Pretty loud at 5:00-7:00.

   This restaurant is one of my favorite places to have a great meal with equally great service. Interestingly I am not a big steak eater but I love their other choices. The salmon is wonderful and so are their appetizers. Their French onion soup is the best I've ever had. It's always a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

   We were seated on time at our favorite table. Service was excellent our server Paul was very personable and attentive. The quality of the food was, as always, outstanding. We enjoyed a Chopped Salad, Crab Cakes, an 8 oz Filet, and Baked Potato. The table included a varied assortment of breads. We also select an excellent bottle of Barbara from Amador County. A great evening at High Steaks!

    From our waitress to the manager, every single aspect of our special dinner was so wonderfully and carefully perfect. We had a celebration which, when we share the private details with them, they were so genuinely caring and went out of their way to thank us for sharing our good news with them. I cannot Say enough about the excellent food excellent service and excellent experience. Thank you High Steaks!
