Arranged for a party of 20 several weeks in advance. Was told we would have 2 servers and a full menu. Dinner was for a large business client.
Was told shortly before being seated that there would be only 1 server and a limited menu.
Our server tried very hard but was overwhelmed with trying to handle the large group by herself.
Some food was cold and the chairman’s wife didn’t receive her meal until most others had finished their meal.
The manager was aware of the situation but was busy in the kitchen trying to get the food out.
I blame management for not responding to the situation promptly that resulted in a terrible evening entertaining my guest.
Good place to host clients or guest. Very affordable Happy Hour Menu.
My husband and I went there for a peaceful, romantic dinner. It was anything but. The restaurant is connected to a VERY LOUD bar. (sounded like they were having a great time)
The service was super slow even though there was hardly anyone in the whole restaurant area with us.
The food was good but seriously, the noise level was similar to being a Buffalo Wild wings during the Superbowl.
We visited Heritage Grille for Valentine's dinner where we were given the pre-set and pre-made menu for the night. The meal included three courses, an appetizer, main course and dessert. We were promptly given our pre-made appetizer upon arrival. The pre-made main course, surf and turf, was given maybe a minute later. There was not enough time to eat our appetizer and we were also never asked how we wanted our steak cooked. That's usually standard practice for a steak house. Overall, I would not recommend Heritage Grille. It was not worth the time or money spent.
Lovely atmosphere and noise level was very quiet which i loved for me and my significant other to enjoy date night together.Food and Service exceptional and very prompt even thought it wasnt busy the day before valentines day
GREAT food, GREAT service, and a pleasant atmosphere!! I'd heard of Heritage but never been there. This will NOT be our last visit!!
Excellent food great drinks ,great atmosphere thourghly enjoyed the dining experience
I was really looking forward to this experience, but was extremely disappointed with the food and price. No complaints about the atmosphere or the staff. I ordered the flight with lamb, duck and pork belly. I brought the duck and pork belly home for our dogs. The grits were extremely dry and portion size very small. We also had the bone in ribeye, but have had better steaks elsewhere. Not pleased to pay over $100 for a non-satisfying meal.
The portions were ridiculously small. It was a joke. I left hungry and immediately drove to a fast food restaurant to make the hunger pains go away. I went in expecting a meal suitable for a man and was disappointed.
Heritage Grille was a new experience for me. The atmosphere was very romantic and upscale. I enjoyed the customer service. The waitresses made sure that my party and I were well taken care of. I love the Shrimp and Grits but the prices are a bit much for the food portion. Heritage Grille is not a restaurant I would go to weekly. I recommend going for Valentines Day, Birthday Celebrations or surprise Engagement Dinner.
Food was disappointing; steak tough and over-cooked . Good wine list. So many other choices in the area for better dinner options.
It was my 7th year Anniversary and wanted to take my wife some place we had never been. I chose Heritage Grill and I’m glad I did! The food was amazing, and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend Heritage Grill to anyone who wants great food and amazing service!
There are several gluten free options. They even have gluten free bread .
The very good food and sevice here is marred by the sports bar ambience (multiple large screen TVs tuned to football, relatively loud noise form immediatley adjacent bar- but thankfully not as loud has last visit). Take out the TVs, put up a wall between the dinning room space and the bar and this would be a great fine dining experience.
Food was not as described on menu. It was also average. The service, however was excellent. All of the servers were friendly and attentive.
When we went to this restaurant in 2016, it was fantastic. The meal was good, the service was great. A few days ago my wife and I went to this restaurant again for her birthday dinner. It was a huge disappointment that they had changed the menu completely. The Salmon and Redfish dishes that we had last year were no longer offered. The menu only offered "Flights" which are a selection of small servings of various dishes.
The embarrassing part is that we had recommended this restaurant to many of our friends and family. We'll have to retract that recommendation completely, which is something we never do.
The service was subpar at best. It was my mother-in-law's birthday. It should've been a very nice and relaxing evening. However that was not accomplished they were very inattentive, when they were resetting the tables around us and changing the plate arrangements they were extremely noisy, and they made us feel rushed.
Mediocre food (at best) in a hotel restaurant setting. Nothing special about the food, ambiance, or service. Everything was adequate. Steak was good, but not to requested temperature. Sides with steak were cold at time of service. Service was not bad, but a little slow. Overall, very mediocre in a really competitive market.
It's a nice looking place and the staff is very nice. It's just very pricey and a little odd. Trying to provide a fine dining experience in a hotel lobby restaurant with giant flat screens over the tables. The food is almost as good as it wants to be. It's good, for sure. But just not to the level it's trying to achieve, and definitely not as good as the price insinuates. The server also disappeared between getting our drinks and bringing our food. No one checked on us for about 25 minutes. The salad came out with the food too. Nitpicky, but for that price, it should be spot on.
The food and service were very good, but while we were at our table, a loud grinding noise started from the bar area, making conversation impossible. At first we thought it was a very loud drink mixer, but soon saw that two workers were refurbishing the bar and sanding or grinding it down with an electrical sander or similar device. Obviously hotel restaurant management didn't care about its guests enough to have the work done after hours. After we complained to the hostess and server, the sanding/ grinding stopped and the two workmen left the building before our meal was totally ruined.
Way too loud, service way too slow, food was poorly done. Tuna was a mess, chilaquiles chips soggy, poached eggs came out hard boiled. Couldn't eat it.
Service was fantastic our waitress was very attentive and the food was fantastic. The only issue I had was for the amount I money I spent the noise level coming from the bar was a little loud and annoying.
Great service. Too pricey. Food was very good. It was nice that they let me order from the menu a few minutes before they actually opened.
went for breakfast or maybe brunch. brunch menu was kind of limited because it was easter so we settled on breakfast which was good.
we did go about 3 weeks ago for brunch and everything was very good + the older black jazz duo was really delightful . felt very good to be there. never felt that way when it was the other hotel eatery.
Don't try to do too much. Just make GOOD FOOD and I will come often!
Excellent food & service. The live music on Sundays made the ambiance that much better. Unlimited mimosas for $5 at Sunday brunch is well worth the trip.
A group of 10 enjoyed meeting there for dinner.
Overpriced but overall, a nice dining experience. Walled bench/booth seating sinks too low to table. Delicious Blacked Steak Tips were the menu favorite. Short ribs were dry. Overpriced, undersized servings but the atmosphere and service is great.
Dined at Heritage prior to attending the theatre. Ordered two different salads, tuna, crabcake, and Sea Bass. One of the salads was good, the other average. The crabcake was average and tuna ok. The sea bass tasted like something from a fast food restaurant. The service started out good but was then spotty. There were clearly not enough servers. The ambiance is almost "sports bar" like, yet the menu represents itself as "very fine dining." The prices in relation to the food quality and ambiance are totally disconnected. I wish I had spent maybe a few dollars more to eat across the street at One Eleven where the food quality is undisputed, even if pricey. I don't mind paying for quality, but do mind paying quality prices for food-chain type food.
not thrilled that 1 of 2 stalls in ladies room was completely out of toilet tissue and another had a roll with a few squares left plus a diaper was floating in toilet, that ruined the experience
An excellent pre-theater venue prior to a show at Robinson Auditorium. An excellent wine list, very good appetizers, and a menu that supports choice plus a very good prix fix menu specifically for the pre-theater crowd.
Slow service, though friendly. Food average, but with interesting approach with their "flights".
Chocolate cake was very good. Steak overcooked. Salad had too much dressing but otherwise good. Would consider prices too high for the quality of the food.
WE ENJOYED OUR DINNER BEFORE THE PLAY. lOVE THAT THEY HAD SMALL PLATES, SALAD AND SMALL PLATE WERE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF FOOD WITH OUT FEELING OVERFULL . VERY NICE SETTING AND WAIT STAFF WAS EXCELLENT. sEEM TO HAVE A NICE WINE LIST. DRESS WAS CASUAL TO BUSINESS ATTIRE.
I'm sad to say that this was a horrible experience for me and my family. We had a party of 14, and were celebrating my sister's 30 birthday. We wanted to eat somewhere different and found the Heritage Grill on the website of the Marriott in Little Rock. We've eaten at restaurants all over Little Rock (Samantha's Tap Room, Copper Grill, Bravo, Sonny's) and this was the absolute worst. The menu for brunch is very limited, we made reservations for noon, ordered at 12:15, and our food wasn't served until 1:45. Several orders were incorrect, and then we were charged ala carte for our kids meals, which stated on the menu that those items were included...on top of that, the food was not good. Brunch was $19 per person, and our service and food was equivalent to McDonalds. I'm a very positive person and hate to complain, but I have to be honest and say that we wont be recommending this restaurant to anyone.
We had tickets to the symphony that was just down the street and decided to give this place a try for dinner beforehand. It is basically a good hotel restaurant. We were pleased that they have a small plate option for most entrees, our food was good and the service was prompt. However, when we were being seated my wife found crumbs on her seat and as she wiped them away before sitting down the hostess gave it no notice. The atmosphere is very pleasant but we were there for dinner and they seated us in area just off of and open to the bar. We had big TV's all around us and felt more like we were in a sports bar than a nice restaurant. I was maybe halfway thru my salad when our server brought our entrees, so mine was getting cold while I finished my salad.
Overall, not really a bad experience, but there are too many really good options in the area for us to return here.
The food was excellent, although the portions were pricey for the size. The waitress said they were small, and the small flight definitely was. The salad was excellent, as was the bread. I would go back, but not with picky children.
The restaurant was very clean and the way staff was very helpful and prompt.
Spent a very special evening with a friend for his birthday...Amazing food and ambiance. Our waitress Alexis was fanstastic with such a pleasant attitude. It is now our favorite date night spot!
This was our fourth visit to Heritage Grille in as many years. We visit from neighboring Hot Springs and it is definitely worth the hour drive. Veronica is a fantastic server and Chef Mario's new menu is splendid. Looking forward to our next visit...hopefully sooner than later.
As a hotel restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. The flight option is a nice way to try various options.
Excellent food and service. My wife enjoyed our Valentines Dinner date there very much!
Overall the food was tasty and well prepared. The issue mostly is the cost. The value isn't quite what it should be. Our waiter was very attentive. It was Valentines and they had a band playing and the music was very nice, making the experience certainly more enjoyable.
