   I went by myself and was able to get a nice small table in the main dining room. I had the veal piccata with two sides. The entire meal was very reasonable especially considering how good it was. Despite having diners at all of her tables, my server was very pleasant and attentive. The only reason I didn’t provide a full five star rating was that my cocktail, Campari and soda, was a bit light on the Campari. I am not suggesting it wasn’t a full shot but, given it is essentially all I ever have when going out, I found it weaker than what I am accustomed to.

   A bit expensive for what I get Preferred the 12 for $12 you used to have Then we would come more often

   We were taking some out as our guest so we didn’t want to make them uncomfortable. But when I told my server that the duck wasn’t even cooked through she said sorry we can’t so anything about it. Charged us and didn’t even offer a dessert. The spinach and ratatouille came out cold we sent. Ack. The pork had a lot of fat on it. Terrible experience. A a manager should have come to our table.

   it's no value if the food is inedible. We could not eat our dinners. The food was completely dried out and tasteless We will not be back.

   Though our meal was very good, we had a disdainful experience ordering. I had received an email for a special St. Patrick’s Day corned beef & cabbage meal ($26.99 which is about $10 less expensive than most other menu items). Every year on St. Patrick’s Day we always dine somewhere that serves it. Upon being seated, we were given the regular menu with no mention of this dinner. There was no other “specials” menu provided nor anything on the table or in restaurant about it. We asked our server & her reply was, “I think we’re out of that (it was only 6:30pm), but I’ll check in the kitchen.” We had come specifically for that meal & were actually going to leave if it wasn’t available. The waitress returned telling us that she was able to reserve the last 2 meals for us. Of course we were somewhat glad because it was the reason we had come, but a bit uneasy because we felt they were scrambling to give us what was left. Our meal arrived quickly & was good. HOWEVER, another couple arrived at a table near us & asked for the corned beef & cabbage. Of course we thought there wasn’t any left now since we were told we had gotten the last ones. Well…they were surprisingly served 2 dinners of corned beef & cabbage. This left us feeling that our server was not honest with us & was trying to make us order from the regular menu (more pricey). To top it off, a table of 8 was leaving & when they saw our 2 tables with the corned beef meals (as they walked by), they stopped & commented, “we didn’t know that was available. No one told us about it. We would’ve all ordered that.” I felt that this was almost a “bait and switch” by the restaurant…advertise a special, get people in the door, & then only provide a pricier menu (unless asked). We have been coming to Henry’s for many years & despite our tasty meal, this experience left us with a really bad feeling about the new owners, management, & staff.

During our busy service, we had to prepare a fresh batch, which caused a slight delay. Our servers were instructed to inform guests about the wait time for the evening's special, but we understand this may not have reached you as intended.     Great menu. The trout was delicious. It may be a popular restaurant for seniors, but who cares. The food is great.
