   My husband & I often dine at Helena and it’s delicious every time. We’ve tried everything on the menu at this point and all the dishes are cooked to perfection. We’ve brought friends to Helena as well as Portus 360 and they’ve all been impressed by the cuisine as well as the experience. Amazing service, spectacular ambiance & all around great place to be!

   Waitstaff made us feel a touch rushed on decisions. Plates weren’t explained very well. We don’t speak French. So, communication wasn’t the best. Not their fault! Food was very delicious; good spice.

   Fantastic evening and totally unparalleled service and food. We tried almost everything on the menu as we were a large group and there wasn’t a single dish we would have skipped. A gem of a place with very knowledgeable staff. Thank you to Daniel and Roberto!

    The food was cold and not cooked well. The rack of lamb was too rare, we had to send it back. The grilled seafood platter for 2 was cold and the giant shrimp wasn't fully cooked.

    Daniel was a good waiter. Food was quite good, but some plates were a bit small to our taste. The octopus was outstanding (incroyable). The custard tarts were excellent but quite petite.

    A friendly greet by the hosted and she lets us pick our seating. The ambiance was lovely and lighting was perfect. Our server was just great and chatty. Meal delicious thank you so much.

    It was our first time at Helena, and we had some expectations set based on reviews we read. On top of that it was a New Year's dinner and we were really expecting to have an exceptional dinner with amazing service and the very good food (st\ least according to the regular menu. The disappointment came right after we were sited, first of all the restaurant was not crowded, but it took a good 20 minutes for servant to come to our table. The expected regular dinner menu was not available, and we had to agree to pre-set option for the night with a fixed price of $175 per person, which was annoying, since did not have much choices according to our dietary preferences. It occurred that it doesn't have any option for people who do not eat meat, forget about the vegans.. The portions was pity fully small like in the worst case of fine french cuisine "Europea" style, just a joke, plus the stuff was definitely missing on the training, pouring the wine with the elbow pointed into my face, multiple times, definitely not accidentally. The food was random and overall nothing to do with the Portuguese cuisine. Most of all it reminded of a low end catering at the low end cocktail party. Music was too loud and it did not go with the place ambiance. There was a ceiling lamp in the middle of the room decorated with some kind of green tree branches, that had perished and had to be replaced over a week ago, nobody bothered. Overall, I think the owners of this place completely dropped the ball, and do not care of how it is doing. I prefer to stay silent about the main dish they served to me instead of the meat one I do not eat. LOL never again! Good luck dear Helena ;))
