   Went last night for the first time. I’m not someone who leaves reviews often but this place is a must-do when in Steamboat. It’s like being in a hallmark movie. The sleigh ride is so lovely. They take your picture with the horses. The views are incredible, it’s so peaceful out there in the snow. They have super warm blankets that completely block the cold but you will need to wear hats, gloves, neck warmer and snow coat. We all wore boots as well. I did not wear snow pants and I was fine. They have a locker room to change out of snow gear before dinner. When you arrive they have hot cocoa and cocktails that you can take on the sleigh ride. You then board the sleigh and ride for about 20 minutes across the golf course which used to be a hay field, hence the name. Then you return to a 3 course menu that has something for everyone. The kids menu went beyond chicken fingers and offered kids a paired down version of the adult menu, still 3 courses. Between the 6 of us we had the New York strip, the pork and the salmon. All of the dishes were fantastic. The chef certainly knows what he or she is doing. The dishes were all very creative and the flavors complemented each other perfectly. The service was outstanding. From the time you enter the restaurant you feel like they are there just for you, welcoming and accommodating. Again, Haymakers is an absolute must do.

   Wonderful experience!! The sleighride was perfect! Dave and Teri provided a wonderful adventure for our family! Our dinner was exceptional!!! Service was incredible, and each course was delicious!!

   The horse sleigh experience was good, kids love it. But the restaurant was disappointing considering the price you are paying, food and service was not good. Definitely it needs an update on the experience because the idea is pretty appealing to the kids.

   We loved the sleigh ride and the staff was very friendly. Blankets were provided to keep us warm. The dinner was excellent as well.

   This was such a wonderful experience!!! You never outgrow the joy and magic of something like a horse drawn sleigh ride. The horses were beautiful and the driver and guide were so kind and hospitable. The experience is not just for young families. My husband and I were equally impressed with the dining experience. Thank you to everyone working 2/13/25, especially our waiter, Spencer. And the chef. He’s got a gift. Every course was so delicious and beautiful!!

   Sleigh ride dinner. Would of loved the sleigh ride through the woods, rather than a golf course. Driver and guide were awesome! Sleigh was cozy and warm. 3 course dinner was really nice.

   I researched this experience multiple times, and Holli was instrumental in keeping me informed and how things were going to proceed. The best experience ever, ever !! Communication was great with Holli and the food was incredible. Our server Spencer was like a food Savant , he described every dish in detail, if you go there ask for Spencer . Thank you Holli and Spencer and the entire team at Haymaker. It was the most memorable night ever.

   Taking the family to Haymaker for dinner and a sleigh ride is definitely one of the top 10 things to do while in Steamboat! Introducing the kids to the horses and learning about them is great fun as is the sleigh ride, bundled up in warm blankets drinking hot cocoa or hot cider. But the #1 feature at Haymaker is the staff. From Holli, the manager; to the driver and ambassadors of the ride; to the wonderful restaurant staff - ALL are very friendly and first class in their respective jobs! Don’t miss it!!

   Truly such a fun experience to do with your family. The sleigh ride was so beautiful and the views during dinner were amazing too. The staff was also unbelievably kind and accommodating to children. We will be returning next time we are in steamboat

    We had a wonderful evening taking a sleigh ride and having a delicious dinner as well. The service was excellent and all the staff was so kind to our four little ones. This was our third year at Haymaker and we plan to make it a yearly tradition!
