Tucked away in a former brewery just off Seven Dials, Hawksmoor is the spot for seriously good steak, seafood, and cocktails right in the heart of Covent Garden. Whether you’re settling in for a long lunch, grabbing a bite before or after the theatre, or just fancy a perfectly chilled martini at the bar, it’s the kind of place that feels special without being stuffy.

The menu is all about top-quality British produce—grass-fed native-breed beef cooked over charcoal, sustainable seafood, and proper seasonal sides. We went to Hawksmoor Seven Dials as a surprise for My Mother’s birthday. My Mother has coeliac disease and other food allergies so eating out can sometimes become difficult. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with such kindness and compassion. A restaurant with a very speak easy vibe, we knew we were in for a treat. From the hostess to our waitress, I don’t think we could have asked for better service! I had left a note in my booking that it was my mother’s birthday, and they followed the note perfectly. We went with the Pre-Theatre menu option (as I had booked online, however you can still order from the standard menu) and had 2x mains and 2x Deserts. The food came out promptly and our waitress answered all questions and provided recommendations whilst always keeping the glasses full, she was so attentive!. As mentioned, my mother has coeliac disease and other food allergies, and we were able to make substitutions from the standard menus if needed to ensure we still paid for the Pre-Theatre menu. The food was Devine! We ended up sharing both of our mains but naturally ate our own desserts. Will definitely make a return when we make the trip from Australia again.

Arrived an hour earlier and they figured out a way to get us a table. Excellent food and service. The medium ribeye was juicy and delicious. Drinks came out fast and the servers were first class. For management, we sat at 105 (bar area) on June 14 around 7:20pm. Give that server a raise!

Superb. This is now my third visit. Excellent everytime. Great food, amazing environment, brilliant staff. The team at Hawksmoor Seven Dials ensure the visit is memorable in only the best possible of ways. Great customer experience, amazing interactions, personable, friendly and attentive. Food and service at the table was excellent. Had drinks at the bar prior to being seated and was surprised at how unprofessional the bar staff were - seemed focused on playing games and chatting amongst themselves rather than serving customers. Was also surprised at the fact that the host did not find us when our table was ready (as they said they would) and the fact the host nearly sprinted to the table, leaving my companion and I left to basically seat ourselves. These may seem like minor things, but when you are paying a premium to eat and drink at this restaurant, it all adds up.

Open, warm friendly service. Excellent attention from all on board. Teilo and Molly in particular. Sunday roast was good. Cooked to perfection. Chips could have been hotter but it was a busy kitchen day.
