Food was generally great, especially ribs starter. Porterhouse had a membrane running through it, which made eating it awkward. Also had to wait ~45 mins to receive and pay bill.

Excellent steaks and I've found Hawksmoor to be consistent in this respect across all their restaurants I've experienced, unlike some other steak restaurant chains.

Food was poor , we’ve eaten here 6 or so times and this time it wasn’t great .. scallops had hardly any garlic with them , very bland .. ribeye steak very tough / fatty I had to leave some as my jaw was aching !!! It’s Definately not like it used to be . I’ve done previous reviews saying how incredible it was but it’s changed . It was pretty poor to be fair . I would expect more especially when you think of how much it costs to eat there .. £100 per head was our bill that’s without the drinks .. Not worth £50 per head at the min !!! I just hope it gets back to how it used to be very soon or I think there’s gonna be a lot more empty tables !!

Really disappointed with the service it was very slow. Couldn’t identify wait staff as there was no uniform, some were in tropical shirts and very scruffy. Food was lukewarm at best other than fries. Service charge was 12.5% for poor service so not very happy about that. Then to top it all they added £1 charity donation to my bill without even asking if i wanted to donate. Overall really disappointed and will not be returning. Poor restaurant with hefty prices.

My partner and I have used most of Hawksmoors restaurants and our experience has always been very positive love the relaxed atmosphere and the food is always amazing well prepared and presented the staff are always very welcoming and friendly and go the extra mile to make sure that everything is perfect thank you all.

We had the mixed grill which was very filling. All the meat was except the rump steak was a little chewy. I wish they did the wines by the bottle instead of carafe. Just a personal preference. Overall a lovely experience ☺️

This was our second visit to the restaurant, and once again, the food did not disappoint — everything was well-cooked and full of flavour. The staff were attentive and efficient throughout the meal, which really added to the overall experience. We had noted in advance that we were celebrating our son’s birthday. While the staff did acknowledge this with a quick “Happy Birthday” upon arrival, I expected a bit more of a gesture, perhaps reflected in the dessert or a small extra touch to mark the occasion. Unfortunately, that didn’t quite happen, which was a bit of a letdown. That said, it was still an enjoyable visit, and we’ll likely be back again. A little more attention to the special occasion would’ve made it a five-star experience.

Excellent visit to Hawksmoor Seven Dials, superb food and attentive service. Food and wine choices were great and staff were knowledgable about all the various options on the menu. Would recommend.
