This is our favourite restaurant. We live in Vancouver BC, but make the point to dine here whenever we're passing through Seattle.
Amazing food, served by an enthusiastic staff. Clever uses of local veggies to create a delicious experience.
Great vegan food. Been several times. Never disappointed.
You should go.
Excellent place for a romantic dinner or special occasion. Locally sourced food. Vegan made spectacular
Amazingly unique menu, high quality ingredients, fantastic presentation and incredibly delicious. The best vegan food in Seattle by far. Portions are more than enough food and the wine pairings were generous and really good too. Next time my partner and I will order 1 wine pairing and 1 elixer pairing--especially if driving! (:
This is one of the most interesting and creative restaurants in Seattle. I'm always amazed by the beautiful and delicious dishes, and the wine pairings are awesome and generous.
Amazing food, amazing service, wonderful place!
Best restaurant experience ever.
The best restaurant on the planet. I have eaten at most major restaurants in Duwamish and Muckleshoot territory (referred to as Seattle) having been raised here. This food is the best restaurant-made food I have had in this area of the world. Harvest Beat provides divine food that I wish I could eat every day. Healthy, filling, tasty, well-balanced, beautiful, delicious, local.. However, spendy for anybody who cannot afford a ~$80+ meal, which is most people on the planet. Hopefully, we can shift the economic and agroecological structures so that this type of food is accessible to more people! The world needs food like this.
third time and always a pleasure. chef joe and the team always take care of the guests from the moment you walk in to the moment you depart. we love harvest beat.
My new favorite restaurant ON EARTH! It’s a happening. Food was amazingly presented and flavorful. Staff out of this world. Attention to detail in decor/design. Like no other place.
Keep up the great work chef(s)! Thank you Harvest Beat for your warmness.
This place is my favorite place since I've moved to Seattle. The servers are friendly in the way that it's a welcoming community - not a dinning hall. The head chef gave a speech about the food and where it came from. The transparency was a heart-stealer.
There is a bar that could be sat at to watch the kitchen if one opts to it. I did not but the invite to look into the kitchen was still given for those that are curious on plating presentation and general movement. I recommend giving a peek for those that might learn a trick or two to bring home.
The foods amazing but thats expected. There is a near 5 star rating for a reason. I'd say if a person with a significant other or a special friend is thinking of doing something amazing - do take them here. It was a pleasureful time my other; to the point that she loved this better than any of the prix fixe she had in New York. I talked to the head chef to learn a few of his strategies for imparting flavours and he was delighted to answer the questions. It was an amazing night for us that night.
I have fined at Harvest Beat 6 total times, and each time I am stunned by how delicious each course has been. I am not a vegan or even a vegetarian, and frankly, meat and dairy tend to be my favorites. But, over the past 4 years I believe that all of my Harvest Beat Meals would make my top 10 list. The food is so fresh and lovingly sourced, prepared and plated. It is beautiful without a hint of pretense. I do t even have words for how perfect the menu was this time. I can’t stop fantasizing about that meal, it was exquisite. And on top of that, every person who works at the Beat is warm, welcoming and passionate about the quality of your expand the food they serve. I feel that I meal at Harvest Beat is something you owe yourself because you are so very very good. And if you are bad, you should eat there because it’s probably the change you need to become your best self.
The menu was super delicious. It was my 4th time and I think this dinner was the BEST. The menu changes every three weeks depending on what the local farmers and foragers have in season. Chef Joe and team had prepared the food beautifully and timely. Owner Aaron gave our birthday celebration a personal touch. We'll be back again.
Harvest Beat was an incredible experience. So much passion and care goes into the dining experience, and I can’t wait to go back in a different time of year to see what they do with each season of fresh produce.
Even if you're not a vegan (I certainly am not), you will not leave disappointed or hungry from this absolute marvel of a restaurant. 5 courses, $65 - and the food is spectacular.
So special! Exquisite food. One of our all time favorite meals!!
Went here for an anniversary dinner. It was a Very special and memorable dining experience. The food, wine and service was all impeccable. I can’t wait to go back soon.
Perfect vegan meal. I’m not a vegetarian but I could eat at Harvest Beat everyday for the rest of my life :)
Great experience as always. Joe and his team always impress!
Harvest Beat always exceeds my expectations regarding food, service, and friendliness.
I appreciate their attention to detail, their gracious thanks for all involved in the foraging, growing, cooking and serving the amazing dishes and Joe's personal touches.
My only complaint is that the wine pairings are skimpy - a little more than a sip sometimes. Better option is to purchase your own bottle of wine - I'll be doing that next time.
Harvest Beat was a fun dining experience. A great place to take vegan skeptics as the food and service are superior.
The food is incredibly inventive and creative and the presentation is beautiful. Excellent service. Unique for a Seattle restaurant.
Ignore the "vegan" moniker; this is where you want to go for a date night meal that is more of an event. During our Friday night meal service was impeccable (including a discussion of the wine pairings with the owner), the five courses were delicious and beautifully plated, and the menu introduction by the executive chef made this feel like a really special night. The courses were filling without leaving us overstuffed, and the wine pairings made for an excellent experience. The menu changes every three weeks so that's how long we'll wait before going back!
Such great service. Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable experience. Food was amazing, and wine pairings were perfect.
My husband and I have been to Harvest Beat many times. Every time, our experience is amazing. It's hard to believe that it's vegan. It all tastes so good!
Desert was way too smokey. The rest was great. Love this place and my last visit was amazing. Don't know why the cheesecake was frozen
Multi-course vegan meal. Amazing food! Great wine and non-alc. pairings.
Great for a date or group of 4-6.
My husband and I had a very special 10th anniversary there last weekend. The attention to detail in the menu, locally sourced ingredients and service was exceptional. We're definitely coming back more often. We especially loved the pairing of spirits as well as non-alcoholic beverages with each course. Highly recommend!
Excellent 5-course meal, best vegan food I've ever had. Seating/tables are well spaced by the bar (not too close), other tables seem tighter together in the back. Worth the money for a birthday date night with my husband.
I really wanted to love this place, but I didn’t. I do love the concept, the lengths they go to to support local farmers, minimize waste and use seasonal ingredients. But somehow, the end result wasn’t fabulous. Some of the courses were very good, but there was a sameness to them. I think I would have a better experience in spring or summer, when the dishes would (presumably) be lighter and brighter and more varied. I’ll be back in the spring.
My boyfriend and I had a great time here for our anniversary! I have never had such a luxe vegan meal before!
It was an absolutely lovely experience. The vibration in the building was incredibly high and we not only felt full, but healthy and loved. I would recommend it to anyone.
Love this place, always bringing friends here when they visit Seattle.
The food and presentation is exceptional. We like to do the wine pairing .
This was a really special dining experience. My friend and I sat at the counter and loved talking and watching the chefs plate the food for each course. The servings were generous and I honestly enjoyed everything!
So happy to finally have gone to a harvest Beat. It was everything I hope do it would be: delicious, experiential, local, all vegan.
Great place. Chef explained what we would be having and where the ingredients came from. Very attentive, friendly wait staff. Definitely a repeater.
One of our favorite go to vegan restaurants. They are excellent at accommodating any kind of food allergy/sensitivity under the sun. It all starts with outstanding product, that is transformed into these beautifully curated dishes that not only nourish you body, but all the senses. You’ll never have a more fun time eating your vegetables—even if you hated them as kids.
Food was fantastic, a very lovely experience. Overall the atmosphere and mood was very cozy and relaxed. It was rather quiet in the restaurant except for one very loud and obnoxious woman who was speaking so loud, almost screaming, we could hear everything she was saying across the room, (while we couldn’t even hear the conversation of the people next to us.)
I am actually a dedicated carnivore but I enjoyed the food very much. The ambience and the service were excellent and the wine pairing worked very well. Highly recommended
