Was ar a nearby hotel at a 3 day meeting. With limited time and energy to drive, we ate 5 times at Harry Caray’s. Easy menu and decent portions.
Great as always, business dinner with clients...everyone lies the Harry Caray mystique and the food is great!
Great service, outstanding food!
Very slow service. Food only just fair. Will not go back. Many better options in Rosemont. Really actually bad.
Food was good. Service was EXTREMELY slow
We came to HC after my husband’s graduation. Food quality was fantastic as was our server. I do think some items were overpriced. The salmon portion was tiny given the $24 or so price. It was maybe 4-5 ounces and came over kale—no starch was included. My husband liked it, but the portion size was quite small. On the other hand, my chopped salad was huge! I barely ate half and was full. Our server was knowledgeable and very helpful with food and beverage recommendations. We’d definitely come back! They even through in desserts on the house since we were celebrating! Thanks HC!
Always reliable for a upscale business dinner or other function! Service is consistently good and overall experience is excellent!
Food was really average. No flavor. Soggy chicken. Pasta decent. Bread was nothing special
While the food was excellent, it took us over 3 hours from start to finish of our meal. We waited so long without any bread and appetizers. It was really disappointing.
Good food and service. Perfect day/time to eat outside
We had never been here but saw the recommendation on Yelp was great! We were in Chicago four days and went twice!!
Great each time!
Always a great meal! Love coming to this restaurant, it has never let me down.
Had a group of colleagues in from out of town and was able to get a table large enough for all of us here. Good Food, Good Service and very convenient to the Holiday Inn.
Food is pretty good, especially the special mahi mahi and desert.
We had a great meal. Yvette was our server and she was awesome . It was a great way to start an anniversary week long trip.
The food was great but the server just disappeared for over 30 minutes at a time, and there were only two tables with two servers. Unacceptable........ I’m not picky about a little bit of wait but this was ridiculous.
First time eating here, menu has something for everyone. The service was great and the food was fantastic! Will be back for sure.
The seafood salad was wonderful!!! Just thinking about it makes me want to return soon!
Got together with a friend and had a very nice lunch. Love the eggplant napoleon! Would order it again!
We were seated at the table right by the kitchen door and the waiter station. It was incredibly “busy” around the table and there were lots of smells coming from the kitchen. Also, I was with a friend I had not seen in a couple of years and we wanted to catch up. We came at 6:00 pm to, hopefully, avoid a rush. Our waitress kept interrupting us, wanting us to order or look at the tray of steaks, although we told her we would let her know when we were ready. About halfway through dinner, a table of about 20 men was seated right by us. Typical of a large group, they were shouting, laughing loudly, and were too loud overall!
I’ve always loved eating here, but normally come at lunch. This was not a good experience. If I come back, it will be at lunch and on the patio.
Typically use for business lunch meetings. Outside of the city, it is a central easy to reach location. Parking is usually a little constrained.
This is the best place to go for a special occasion. It is expensive so be prepared to spend more than normal but the food is great, beyond compare. the service is outstanding. I left instructions for my son's birthday through the message box on "Open Table" and they were followed exactly. The waiter was very patient with the group which included children. Even though it's "fine dining" you can dress in business casual. I was more than pleased with our experience.
the fact that it's close to the airport was helpful since two of our guests had flights right after dinner. Ample parking.
We meet for dinner before our 50th class reunion on Sunday. We had a great time and the foord was wonderful. The person who served us was great!!!! Thanks
FABULOUS DINING EXPERIENCE!
Mid afternoon low traffic
We ordered three cocktails. Two of them were really light on the alcohol. Disappointing.
My dad's gazpacho was supposed to be cold, it was warm.
Twi entrees os seared scallops were delicious.
Veal marsala was bland.
Portions were generous.
Good food. Good service. Pricey. Initial wait around 15 mts. The menu and service were really good. Ambience will be good if you are a big sports fan.
Patio was perfect yesterday
Service was goid
I loved my experience at this restaurant. My flight was cancelled and I had to find a place to stay last minute. On the shuttle to the holiday in I was told by some pilots that I had to eat at Harry Carays so I immediatly made a reservation for myself. The whole staff was very kind and welcoming but the best part was my waitress Shelly. I was miserable about having to stay in Chicago and my cancelled flight but Shelly made sure I felt very pampered and taken care of. I have truly never had such a great experience with a waitress and I wish I lived closer to Chicago so I could go again. The food was delicious and the cocktails were inspired. Thank you to all of the waitstaff, manager, and hostesses for making my stay so enjoyable.
We got our table right away. Food was excellent as always. The waiter was a bit uptight. He was so serious and not real warm or kind. Other than that all was good.
Went to celebrate my son's HS graduation with our family of 7. It is pricey to bring the whole family. However, we all really enjoyed our meals.
I have been going here for 5 years now when I am in town for a convention. The food is always amazing, the staff are knowledgeable and professional, and the noise level is always very low. Definitely a great place to go if you want a nice meal.
Birthday celebration was great. The waiters singing made the Cubbie Birthday Boy Happy
Absolutely great Arancini to start and best pork chop in town. Most of all, service is just outstanding - Shelly is a rockstar! We were a large group of 7 and everyone raved about the food, wine, and service!
This is one of our go-to places! The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and we always seem to get a table, either in the bar or the dining room.
We went for the Mother’s Day buffet. The food was pretty good but not as good as in previous years. For some reason the carving station was not very generous in the pieces of meat they gave out. I received a piece of turkey that was about the size of a playing card. The fruit was sliced paper thin so you needed to take a lot. The sweets were very dry like they were on the border of stale. On a plus note all the breakfast items were great and as always the waiters were top notch.
We went there for Mothers Day brunch like we do every year. They also have Easter Brunch which we do every year also. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. Save room for the made to order Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubilee sweet table. From prime rib to turkey, ham, omelet and waffle table it is all great food.
Harry Caray’s restaurant serves very good Italian food, steaks and huge shrimp.
My flier sliders were chewy..sons spaghetti was rubbery and no taste..waitress slow and unresponsive..nothing like downtown location
This is the second time that your employees have been rude. Particularly at the front desk/check-in of the restaurant. The first disappointing encounter was back in November. This was a business dinner reservation for clients and I want you to know that the following day (Fri, May 11th) we did NOT return to your restaurant but made a reservation elsewhere in Rosemont. I was shocked that this company's clients -- a company that sends a TON of business your way -- should be treated in this abrupt and thoughtless manner. If this same level of discourtesy persists, I will certainly recommend that they no longer make reservations at your establishment.
