Steak was disappointing. I had hyped it up to 2 guys that had never had a high quality steak and Harry Carey’s fell short.
Mother’s Day dinner. Delish! And that baseball desert surprise was a hit!! You made my 91 year old mom very happy! Thank you.
What a lovely review, thank you very much! We are so happy you chose to spend Mother's Day with us at Harry's. Great to hear the Breaking Ball dessert was a hit! Please come back and see us again soon!
I was there on Mother's Day, and they only had the buffet. The food was not as good as when I am able to order off the menu.
Wonderful Mother's Day Brunch! The Prime Rib and Bananas Foster were my faves! :)
It's an annual tradition to go to Harry's for Mother's Day brunch. It's so exceptional that is why we go annually. From the wait staff to the outstanding food choices. Can't wait for next year!
Thank you very much for this fantastic review! We are so happy you continue to spend Mother's Day brunch with us at Harry Caray's and we can't wait to welcome you back again next year. Cheers!
Food was fresh and prepared well. The chef refused to allow replacement of sides for the special, which was petty and not customer oriented. But otherwise it was a good experience. Our waiter was excellent.
Excellent food, Outstanding attentive service, Nice ambiance
Thank you very much! We are very pleased to hear that. Please come back to see us at Harry's again soon!
What a tremendous disappointment. 10 years ago Harry Caray's Restaurant was the place to go for steaks and great Italian food... brought a client to the Rosemont location near O'Hare Airport ordered a steak sandwich and a salad medium rare it came back burned within an inch of its life and only a quarter inch thick.. it was open-faced which was not indicated on the menu. A salad came with it and was dumped on top of the plate with the sandwich and I had to push the lettuce and greens off of the sandwich typically a salad comes in a separate Bowl the last time I checked.. the sandwich was so bad I had to send it back to get made right even when I did not want to do that in front of the client.. his posture looks pathetic but he did not say anything I would never go back to this place if you held a gun to my head don't waste your time there are much better places to go the price is ridiculously high and I don't need to go to this place they have bad food and look at a bunch of Harry Caray at Chicago Cub decorations what an embarrassment.. Harry Caray is rolling around in his grave... pathetic..
I have been to this particular restaurant many times before, both with small and large groups, and always enjoyed it. I’m sad to say that after my experience the other evening, I will not be back.
Service was good (not great)
Drinks were spot on
Dessert was great
Meatballs were DRY
Fried calamari was WAY over cooked
Lobster tail was like rubber
Pasta was mush
Fish entree was terrible; over-seasoned and flavor-less
Great Key Lime pie!
Thank you very much! One of our favorites! We hope to welcome you back again in the future!
Good, solid lunch salad and great service.
The service has gone down hill. We had to ask 4 times for bread after newer tables were given some and we were not given any. After the 3rd request, the bread was given to another table that had not even started on their basket. The waiter repeated back the order he had just taken and got about 25% of it wrong. The check had to be corrected twice.
The food was good.
Pricy and garlicky
We have dined at Harry Caray's on Kinzie many times and it's one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago. We thought we would try the Rosemont location, but overall we were very disappointed. The food was very good, but everything else was 2nd rate at best.
Nephew’s birthday was a great day
Thank you for dining with us for your Nephew's birthday! We are so happy to hear you had a nice time! Please come back and see us again soon!
Overpriced food, noisy and loud due to poor acoustics (it was difficult to hear our conversation but I could hear other diners'). I thought Harry Caray's would be an enjoyable restaurant for my friend who loves baseball. The food was mediocre but expensive ($19 for a simple, meatless pasta dish with no sides).
Great food and service
Thank you very much! We hope to welcome you back again in the future to Harry's!
I love going to Harry Caray’s for their brunch! The food was delicious! The service was great too! My family and I had a great time!
Thank you for this great review! We are so happy you chose to spend Easter brunch with us at Harry's! We hope to welcome you back next year.
Love the Easter brunch. Too many options to try. But I gave it a go!
Easter brunch was great!
Thank you for dining with us for Easter Brunch at Harry's! We are so pleased to hear you had a great time. We hope to welcome you back next year!
The drinks weren't as good as I thought they could be. Tasted like something I would mix at a house party but not a steakhouse. The food portions were small. Olive Garden gives bigger portions for less money.
Ordered the Italian wedding soup and the chicken vesuvio. The soup was good, but the chicken was not tender and somewhat tasteless. I know that the chicken has been a Harry Caray specialty for years, and I ordered it (from the Kinzie Street restaurant) for a fundraiser some years back. This meal did not measure up to my previous experience.
Fine. Nice service, but a little pricey for what you got.
$20 for a chicken Caesar salad and I left still hungry...very small portion even for lunch.
My brother was in from Florida. He and my boyfriend tried the chicken Parmesan, they were happy with theirs. I had the Parmesan crusted whitefish. Very disappointing. Potatoes had no flavor, fish crust took over and you couldn’t taste the fish. I expected better. Our server Christian was excellent.
Our Aunt took us all out for her birthday
chef and wait staff were very good with my restricted diet of low fodmap, low histamine. I thoroughly enjoyed and did not worry about possible cross contamination.
My husband, who has no restrictions, had a great aged steak and we got to enjoy a night out together. A rarity with my food sensitivities.
thank you so much!
Due to dietary sensitivities I seek out vegan and gluten free options. I was in Rosemont for a short time for business and I am a huge Cubs fan - had to give Harry Caray’s a try. I did review the menu beforehand so I was aware of possible vegan/GF options. Dinner was lovely! The dinner salad and arugula pesto GF pasta was fantastic. Luis offered me dessert but everything on the dessert menu had dairy, so I passed, still quite pleased with the entire experience. After a few minutes, Luis and colleagues brought me a beautiful plate of fresh berries with a lighted candle, while singing the Harry Caray version of happy birthday. Was not my birthday, but was incredibly thoughtful and kind. The entire experience was lovely - will definitely stop by again when I am in town. Thank you, Luis!
The service was fantastic and flexible. The food was very good and it was a pleasant place to have a a business meeting. I would recommend it to many people.
It was my dads birthday. I just wish the waitress could’ve been more attentive
Visit could be summed up as disappointing. 2 of 4 steaks ordered at out table were badly overcooked. Mgmt did make it better by offering deserts and discounts on the impacted meals but that just put a band aid on a mediocre meal. Everybody else said their meal was OK but nobody was impressed. In an area with highly competitive, high priced restaurants like Rosemont, the meal had best be really good. Sadly, this was not the case.
We had been to a local Italian restaurant that was close by the night before. Meal there was twice and good and cost half as much money. Guess which one we will be repeat customers.
The location is perfect for grabbing dinner prior to a show in Rosemont. Just minutes away from Allstate Arena. The nostalgia within the restaurant is entertaining. The food was excellent and the service was superb. I would highly recommend it.
Pleasant atmosphere, good food, great service. Will definitely go again in the future.
This is our go to place for business lunches
Worst experience I’ve had there in terms of food. Ordered ribeye. Very tough and gristly. Definitely didnt resemble prime steak. Overall worst food experience I’ve had there. Long time fan of the place. Service was excellent.
Always reliable, good food, just wish the menu options changed more frequently.
My steak was made perfect to order one of the best Ribeyes I've had in a long time. My girlfriend's fillet looked incredible and tasted just like it looked. Also our waiter recommended brussel sprouts and he was spot-on. Very cool dude as a matter of fact. If you're looking for a wonderful meal with a special person and you're close to here stop on in you won't regret it
We very much enjoyed our dinner and drinks. We will definitely eat there again.
Food was mediocre at best. Our appetizer was not warm in the center, had better steak at half the price. Dessert was good and service was good.
Stopped off prior to the Eric Church concert at the Allstate arena and had a superb meal. My wife and I had the special of the night which was the lobster risotto and it was outstanding.
