Harry & Izzy's is an independent, upscale American Grill located on Indy's Northside. Its ambiance exudes class and sophistication in a comfortable setting. While the lively bar is Harry & Izzy's focal point, we offer unique dining rooms and a beautiful second floor mezzanine overlooking the restaurant.     I have loved this restaurant for years but this trip was lacking. It was hot and very stuffy in the cramped both with no air movement. The steaks were overcooked and even after sent back it was another 40 min before he got his meal. Because this ended up becoming a long table our server lost focus and it wasnt a great experience.

    I made a reservation—which was accepted and confirmed. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed for Juneteenth! It was surprising that we weren’t alerted. We love Harry & Izzy’s. Thank you! Alan Sneed

    A+ Restaurant: Service, greetings, atmosphere, food! It was very busy for a Tuesday evening. The noise level with a bit much, but we had a nice booth on the 2nd level, which helped. Would be nice if large party groups could be placed in a separate location away from those who want to have a nice quiet dinner. Our waiter was excellent!

    Honestly, Harry and Izzy’s never disappoints! We’ve been here for multiple special occasions over the years and it’s still my favorite steakhouse in the Indy area. Their prices are also reasonable compared to other steakhouses. Their service is top notch as well. Not much to dislike about it. Highly recommended!

    Since this was Father's Day, the restaurant was busy with a few large parties. As a result, the kitchen may not have been as prepared as they should have been, and they didn't get all our orders correct. The restaurant was great, though, because they did make it right. We will be back as this was not something to sour our opinion of the restaurant. Our server was wonderful and the manager came over to apologize.

    Our server was amazing! I have had the server in the past and she is consistently great. The food was very salty, which was surprising, because normally this establishment has great food. One of the members of my party, the food was so salty that it resulted in her not feeling well. Another member of our party had never been there before and she decided to get the prime rib sliders and the presentation looked horrible and she said the prime rib was greasy, salty and she did not eat her food. This experience was very disappointing.

    An out-of-town friend and I had lunch at Harry & Izzy's. The food was excellent, and the server gave us plenty of time to talk and enjoy our food.
