Harry & Izzy's is an independent, upscale American Grill located on Indy's Northside. Its ambiance exudes class and sophistication in a comfortable setting. While the lively bar is Harry & Izzy's focal point, we offer unique dining rooms and a beautiful second floor mezzanine overlooking the restaurant. This sister restaurant to the famous St. Elmo Steak House, shares a few classic dishes (such as the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail and prime-aged steaks), while offering more menu variety.     Food and service were good. It was busy, and the noise level being so high was a major detracting factor from the family dinner. My steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My wife’s filet ribeye was good but no where near the taste of my traditional filet.

    What a treat! As always, Harry & Izzy’s Northside had delicious food and outstanding service for our lunch. My wife and our female relative had the Legacy Lunch Combo with caesar salad and chips while I had the Parlay Combo which adds a 2-piece st. elmo shrimp cocktail. Our beef filet sliders were cooked exactly as we ordered. Our server, Debbie, was more than one could ask for. She provided impeccable service but wasn’t intrusive. She was willing to chat if you initiated it but didn’t act like she wanted to be on your Christmas card list in order to get a tip. Another fine experience at one of our favorite places.

    Our server was great! The overall food delivery was a little slow and my steak was a bit overcooked. The shrimp cocktail as on point as expected and the atmosphere was lovely. Overall a good experience.

    We were celebrating 2 birthdays and they made the evening very special! The food was amazing and the service impeccable. We will definitely be back!

    Our server was AMAZING!! He made the entire experience more enjoyable. The food was ok, unfortunately, we definitely prefer Ruth Chris (for food quality and price) My steak was undercooked however they did cook it a little longer which made it a little drier than I would like. It was busy so it was louder than I would like but everyone looked like they were having a good time!

    The food was outstanding, with the steaks cooked to perfection. However, the restaurant was warm and we found out after our meal was over that the air-conditioning was out of service in the section of the restaurant we were sitting in. Also, its always the little things that are concerning, for instance the pepper grinder at the table was empty, so reaching over to the next table, this grinder was also empty. The server didn't show up for another 15 minutes, so I had to flag down a busboy for additional water and pepper (which I never got). All in all a very good meal but with the prices they charge I was expecting a little higher level of service and prep at the tables.
