Whenever I visit Indy, I try to get to H&I or St. Elmo’s. H&I always exceeds my expectations, service and food is always on par. Drinks are perfect and I can honestly say all the times I have been here, I never had dessert! Shrimp cocktail is same as next door and will clear any nasal blockages you have, it’s soooo good. Steaks are cooked to perfection and sides are just delicious. Service is top notch and can’t ask for anything more for great night out for dinner. Highly recommend.

We were seated in the back of the highest level. I was there with my wife celebrating my birthday and her election victory. We had just been to the symphony and wanted to have a nice dinner. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a party of at least 10-15. They were exceedingly drunk, loud and boorish. No effort was made by management to calm them down. This was a black mark on an otherwise wonderful evening. I almost asked to be reseated. It was that bad. Our server was prompt and attentive, however, and the food was fantastic.

Very nice ambiance with solid service. However, the steaks and seafood we ordered for our entrees were below average. For the price you pay at higher end steakhouses, the food should be top notch. I do want to reinforce that the staff was wonderful!
