Food and service was good, was seated up in a small room that was closed off from the rest of the restaurant which seemed neat. The entire room was reserved except for 2 small booths for a huge family of about 30 and it was incredibly loud and became very hot. So warm my wife had to leave a couple times to get some cool air. I cannot believe the restaurant would place us and another small group of I think 3 with this large group. Their was so many open tables when we came in I’m still in disbelief why. We even had a reservation for that evening too so it wasn’t like we were just walking in off the street. The room was so crowded and loud I couldn’t hear my wife talking to me across from me, the servers were almost running into themselves because the room was so full of people while trying to do their orders and bring our food and the other small table’s food as well.

This was a spur of the moment decision to go here and glad we made the choice we did!!! Our waiter CJ was absolutely amazing!!! He was super personable & made great suggestions for food & desserts! The steaks & homemade steak sauce was a 12 on a scale from 1-10. And the bourbon bread pudding was the best I’ve had!! Will definately be returning when we visit Indy again!!🙂

Our server was excellent (Jen) and the wedge salad and shrimp cocktail did not disappoint as always. However all four people at our table felt like the filet steaks were unseasoned- the had a very “plain” taste and were not as good as they have been in the past. Very tender and well cooked simply no flavor.

Most of the food was good but there were issues with timing and they had to redo a dish making it come out well after the rest of the meal. It was a busy night but considering the price point of the restaurant things could have been better.

Had a wonderful time at Harry & Izzy’s!! Wait staff were all great; very knowledgeable and kind and funny. We had the famous shrimp cocktail that was fantastic, a beautiful steak and tasty piece of fish with mashed potatoes and broccoli with cheese on top. Everything was just delightful. We were celebrating our Anniversary. We had reservations and were seated within a couple minutes of our arrival. Waiter was knowledgeable and welcoming. Food was tasty and served good and hot. Old Fashioned was terrific as well as IPA. To top it off the bread pudding was super with bourbon drizzled over the top, yum! Memorable time was enjoyed by all!
