For parties of 10 or more, please give us a call and we will be happy to assist you!
Lobster special was very expensive and not a large enough portion to justify price.
I made the reservation to take advantage of beautiful sunset views. This place is excellent for that while watching boats come and go to the marina. I wanted a place where I could get seafood while my family who don't like seafood would have beef, chicken, salad, and sandwich options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking on the wharf is free for 90min or less.
Visiting from New Mexico, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! Just wish they had a scallop fish
25th anniversary. The food was okay. I thought it would be more unique because of the location and not something I could get at Red Lobster. Lights way too bright to enjoy the ocean view after dark. Could only see our own reflections. Very disappointing.
Waiter didn’t give us much attention. He only came over when we called for him. One meal (the local spiney Lobster) was a little burned & hard. Otherwise things were ok.
Gracious, friendly service!
Our party of 10 enjoyed a business dinner that ran almost to their closing time, and they did a great job of allowing us to feel unrushed in our own corner of the restaurant.
Views are STUNNING! The restaurant, itself, could use a bit of freshening/updating. Food was good - not spectacular, but not bad either.
Great place for a large group to enjoy the best views in Santa Barbara.
Excellent no-pressure service by Eric and the host staff, with the unbeatable harbor view at sunset it made of a wonderful experience.
My spouse and I decided to come back to Harbor Restaurant after a day of kayaking. Pleased they had a delicious meal of fish tacos to round out our day. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. We will be back again when in the area!
I enjoyed my dinner at the Harbor Restaurant. The food was good, but a bit pricy. The server did a good job and had a good attitude. My only complaint was the light from the setting sun was annoying. The shade helped, but didn't block out all the sun.
My family and I came here for the first time. The experience wasn’t awful, it was just mediocre. The servers were clearly in college, and I understand the attire is black but some just didn’t look professional. I felt as though the server could have been better trained in professionalism, frequently coming back because a question was forgotten. The food was good, but heavily overpriced for the amount that was given. Wouldn't entirely recommend this place as a place to go for fine dining, go to the El Encanto if you want that.
The manager and our server went out of their way to accommodate our group of four. Pleasant, fun, the food was excellent and priced affordably.
As this was my choice and my group was extremely pleased, so, i was a hero.
Definitely a repeat for me!
Best brunch spot! Great views, $10 bottomless mimosas and delicious brunch options. Get half orders of the salads... they are massive. My dining partner had the Ranch Benedict and said the filet mignon was some of the best he's had. We had a great server who was charming and never let us see the bottom of our mimosas until we had to go.
The restaurant has an amazing ambiance with being on the pier and overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately the same canot be said about the food. The fried breading on everything was so hard it cracked when cut with a knife and was difficult to chew. The contents - onion rings, fish and chips were well cooked but is difficult to ignore the rock hard breading cover. The fish and chips and fried shrimp came with fried potatoes and cole slaw. Although the plating looked nice, the fries were made soggy by the cole slaw’s dressing. Lastly, the hibiscus flavoring in the iced tea made it undrinkable. The wait staff was great but cannot overcome the bad taste in my mouth.
the waitress was polite, need training to clear the table, my menu was in the window the entire meal. My wife got sick from under cooked shrimp in her salad.
First off, the place smells of old, dingy, dirty carpet. Our sea bass was gummy and lobster tacos smelled so bad we wouldn’t even taste them. Service was super slow.
We selected this location because it had the best ratings of available seafood spots in downtown Santa Barbara area. The restaurant is on the Pier, but it was busy so we didn't have seats to really take advantage of the views. Our food was not good, and it was mid-upper price point. I don't even remember what we ate, it was that unmemorable. Anyway, this is a touristy spot, so try one of the other ones if you are looking for any more than a view.
Met friends visiting foM Berlin. Beautiful views, free two hour valet parking, standard fare.
Beautiful place in the water. Staff and service were excellent.
My friend’s going away and the salmon was delicious, our waiter Bobby was a joy, and the view is lovely. Always pleasure to dine here
Wasn’t satisfied, the food had no flavor. The ribeye my husband ordered was good but besides that I ended up not eating any of my fettuccine seafood plate. The clam chowder wasn’t great either. I’m not going back.
Great view of Santa Barbara harbor! Great food. Reasonable prices. Definitely would go again.
The service was fine everyone was very nice. It was pretty empty for a Saturday at 7pm which should have been a warning sign. The food was awful and took for ever to come out. Worst lobster I’ve ever attempted to eat and the fish and chips were soggy. Too bad cause the views were really pretty but won’t be back.
Frustrated with myself for choosing this restaurant. We’re relatively new to town and wanted to take visiting guests to dinner. They like simple, good, American food, and this seemed a solid choice. We waited for 25 minutes for water, which required flagging someone down 3 times. We had to send back a steak ($38) ordered well done that was bleeding and other parts of dinner were off (margaritas were terrible, rice was cold, tried to pass of factory tortillas as house made, and so on). The server was distracted and peevish. And the bussing staff failed him all night. (One dropped a dirty cocktail napkin on a full dish, another served plates by handing the to folks to pass to other diners).
I should have understood a restaurant on the pier would be a tourist trap. I just didn’t expect it to be so bad. So very bad.
Had a reservation for this past Saturday at 6:30 pm, was in town earlier than expected and they were able to accommodate us at 4:30. The hostess sat us at a table with a great view of the ocean. The ambiance was pleasant and it was calm & quiet. Was not crowded but it was only 4:30 so I imagine it would get busier closer to dinner time. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. I ordered the cup of Clam Chowder and it was delicious! I was not too hungry so I ordered the USDA cheeseburger which came with fries. It was made the way I like it! Very tasty. We had ordered the onion rings as our appetizer and they were very well made. Not your usual mom and pop restaurant greasy onion ring. My husband ordered the stuffed chicken and he absolutely loved it. Chicken was moist and mushrooms and spinach was very tasty. Overall, we recommend this restaurant. We are not big seafood eaters so I cannot give you a review on their other seafood dishes but I imagine they would be just as good.
We spent a wonderful dinner et this restaurant. The service including the complimentary valet was very good.
The food was extremly well cooked (maine lobster plus fish ans chips), with Big portions and very fresh ingrédients. Even deserts were Big. With a wonderful sunset view, this family dinner for our last Santa Barbara day was just perfect.
Wine not tested but a great consideration with Virgin cocktails that have an adapted low Price with the non alcool inside.
Many thanks !
A great view. Our server was knowledgable & personable. We were celebrating a birthday & we appreciated their attention to detail. The food was delicious.
This wasn’t the restaurant we were expecting. The food was good and the service good. Nothing special. The view of the water from our table was nice.
Overpriced, awful food. A tourist trap because of the great location. I would not go back.
Had a wonderful dinner with family!
If you have small children you absolutely have to ask to sit at the”boat” their entertainment and enjoyment!
The only place that that lobster weighed 1 1/4 pounds was in the planet Jupiter.
The wait was long but worth it! Food was delicious and the ambiance was amazing. Would highly recommend.
The view is incredible!!
Great restaurant with an awesome view of the ocean/beach . Great menu. Good food - plenty of selection for seafood. Yummy desserts! Waiters are nice and very helpful and explain the menu. Can't wait to come back with friends and family.
A bit pricey, but the fish dishes we had were excellent, and they have complimentary valet parking which is so helpful
Seemed like an older place. The food was good and so was the service.
Great food and service. No better views of the Santa Barbara harbor will be found.
Food was of poor quality and pricey. The service was average.
It was a birthday celebration. Window table and Ernesto was our great waiter
My wife and I eat at Harbor Restaurant every time we go to Santa Barbara. We love the food, the location, the service. We enjoy every minute there.
