A half door is a familiar sight in Ireland, flanking the front of farmhouses & village pubs as a way to let fresh air in and keep the nosy farm animals out! To us (the Drayne family that is), Half Door represents the brewing traditions of our ancestors, carried out daily in pubs. These pubs acted as the cultural hub for every tiny village across the Irish countryside, and each one brewed their own unique beer until the 1950s. That’s when a certain macro brewery (we won’t name names!) began to impressively dominate the industry, but also wipe out the unique character of small brewing operations. The turn-of-the-century house we call home was a natural for our family-run brewpub – we Draynes are naturally hospitable – the welcoming spirit is in our blood!

During COVID we do require all customers to wear their face coverings while on the premise until seated. We are doing everything we can to make sure that your dining experience is comfortable and safe.

The drinks were amazing. I had the tres commons cocktail. We also had the pork belly plate which was filling and delicious. The ambiance was nice and low-key. We went there at 6:30pm. We also had great service.

Had an amazing time with my wife on the second floor balcony. The food was surprisingly speedy and really good! The price might be a bit much, but overall very well worth it. The beer is good, and the views of the stadium is eye opening. Can not wait to go back

Worst service ever. Granted, it was a busy Friday night. But we sat at a table in the corner while two female servers studiously ignored us. Finally had to flag down the hostess to ask to have our server sent over. We had fish and chips. Fish was good. Chips were inedibly salty. Would not recommend.

We went here with our two children before Monster Jam. It was really nice, it has a nice view and is close to the stadium. The food was really good and we would go there again for sure.
