Food was good and priced at what I expected, which is higher than what I like to pay for "expected quality." At the higher prices I would like it to be ABOVE expectations. Our waiter was not very knowledgeable regarding wine selection, which caused us to skip wine & settle for ordinary cocktails which I must way were just that - ordinary. No suggestions were made, just said "here is the wine list just pick what you want" and staff was not very attentive throughout the night. I guess he was more interested in the larger nearby table with a large number of girls. We also had made the open table reservation with the note of special occasion, and nothing was acknowledged about that either - so why ask?

I love the location of this restaurant & had great service. The food is really good but lost points due to the GF options. On one hand, I commend this restaurant for having so many GF options. On the other hand, the meals required so many changes that they were not even close to the dish on the menu. With that said, the food still tasted good but I was unable to experience a dish close to what they intended. For example, the ahi tuna salad was listed as a GF option but both dressings had gluten plus the wontons so it was changed to a vinaigrette, completely changing the taste of the dish. Overall, I would go back & I would recommend it to a friend, as the food was still good and the service was great.

We love Guppy’s, it is our favorite restaurant. We were in last night for the Early Bird menu, it was great. The portions were outstanding for a reduced price menu. The only slight criticism is that I thought the dressing on the caesar salad was a bit bland, but still very enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit !!!

Wonderful menu with lots of options and something for everyone (smaller plates, larger plates, lots of delicious salad choices, GFO/Veg, and apps/specials to choose from). Fantastic taste and beautiful presentation. Service was truly stellar. You have to make a reservation-- they stay booked for a reason! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent service! Great food, highly recommend the grilled grouper. Myer lemon oil glazed, yes please. Very friendly and lovely - beachy atmosphere. A must go when visiting Indian Rocks Beach.

We had a choice of outside or inside and we chose inside. It was really warm in the restaurant. I asked for paper napkins and never got them. My husband ordered a beer when he ordered his entrée but wanted it come out with his dinner. We had to remind the waitress and then she came to us and told us they no long had the beer he had ordered. It was just not up to the standards and quality that it use to be. A little disappointing

Extremely noisy! Could not wait to get out of there. They wanted to put us at a high top. I made my reservation over a month ago for my 45th wedding anniversary. I am not sitting at a high top. We ended up at a booth. We have been there many times before and not experienced what we did last night.

Guppy’s was recommended by several people that had been there before. I could just say, we were just a little underwhelmed. Complimentary valet was nice since it was raining. Our waitress Courtney was top notch. But the food did not wow us!! Fish spread and coconut shrimp were good. Other dishes we had, just marginal! But try it yourself!! It was good, just not the best!

My wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Guppy's and had a wonderful meal. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but we had made reservations and were actually seated a little early. Our server Rosalie was the best, very attentive and had some good recommendations which helped make our experience awesome. We started with the Lobscargot and Octopus for appetizers and both were delicious, even used the leftover sauce from the Lobscargot to dip our bread in. My wife ordered the Scallop's from the specials menu and I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The Scallop's were seared to perfection and the Chimichurri on top was quite refreshing and tied everything together perfectly. My order of Shrimp and Grits was also very good with the shrimp cooked perfectly and the Andouille sausage had a wonderful smoke flavor with just the right amount of spice. The Jalapeno infused grits were quite delicious. For dessert we split a slice of Key Lime pie and Banana Cheesecake which was wrapped in pastry crust and fried with ice cream, both were outstanding. We will definitely be returning to Guppy's in the future to try some of the other items on the menu.

Very helpful staff. Quick seating. Outdoor dining experience. Great sunset view from seating. No rushing. I'd definitely recommend Guppy's and will be back next time I'm in town.

Service was spot on from host to server. Robert, our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Grouper was excellently prepared, sides, bread and drinks were delicious . Friendly and prompt staff.

Used open table with indoor request. 95 degrees outside. Told no room and sat outside to sweat on a Sunday at 12:30 pm. Dress code not honored with string bikini attire and rear ends hanging out. Served cold slaw with no dressing on it at all. Rice portion was about 1/3 cup. Overall we would not go back and left with a not special feeling. We felt we were being condescended to.

Guppy’s has become really expensive to enjoy a night out with a party or three. Dinner was over $200 with tip which excludes it from our future dinner reservations.

Another fabulous meal at Guppy’s. Food was delicious, our server David, was excellent, one of the best we’ve ever had. I also like the daily specials. I had the fried chicken salad which was yummy. Lunchtime was packed. Not a seat available inside. Great place.

A reservation is a must, always busy which is a good sign. We had a good server as most of them are. Drinks were good. I has a belvedere martini others had a margarita it was average and a whiskey sour. The salmon came out a wee bit overdone but the flavor was good. I had a salad my boyfriend had the fish and fries and another had coconut shrimp. Overall everything was tasty but I feel that we have had better there before and the presentation could have been a bit better also. We still love this place and of coarse will return again.
