In the last four decades Gulliver’s Restaurant has became one of the most popular Prime Rib Restaurant in Southern California.
Gulliver’s hand-selected beef (corn-belt) is slow roasted in a unique patented oven system to assure flavorful, tender and juicy Prime Rib dinners. Gulliver's Restaurant is well known also for its other specialties as in-house aged Prime Steaks, Chateaubriand, Salmon, Rack of Lamb, Baby Back Ribs and roasted Long Island Duck.
As you walk into a Gulliver's you will feel as though you have entered back in time to 18th century England. Guests at the Gulliver’s are surrounded by a veritable museum of leaded glass pieces, pewter and ceramic objects, and a collection of prints from Hogarth, Rowlandson and other Gulliver’s Travels illustrators.
The Portions are huge, the service is gracious and friendly, and most importantly, the beef is cooked to perfection.

So our server was pretty on it but honestly the food and quality was completely off this restaurant went down hill! I came with my family here the last few years as a tradition but I will not be back! Unfortunately the tradition will end. Cheap quality

Gulliver's is an old favorite. The décor is warm and fun, providing a great atmosphere for a romantic dining experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
The food is outstanding!

As an Orange County native, I have driven past Gulliver’s a thousand times it seems. Groupon brought me in, finally. Incredible portion of Prime Rib was cooked perfectly and offered wonderful flavor. Added straight horse radish to house mix (too weak). No big deal. Bread pudding and creamed spinach were also delicious. Creamed corn was too sweet for my pallet. Overall we (3 of us) loved the food and would recommend to others.

The food was excellent as usual. The house salad was excellent along with the filet and salmon. The creamed corn could be a dessert although they serve it with your meal. Our waiter Shane was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. The Christmas decorations are as good as anywhere.

An old school restaurant with paneled walls, wooden tables and chairs, and waiters who remember their customers. Prime rib is hard to beat... yorkshire pudding difficult to find anywhere else (try it!)... the total experiance is awesome. They also have salmon, duck, steak, tornedos, rack of lamb... great wine list... excellent bar... only negative is they are a little espensive.

The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because the service was great! For those of you that are looking for prime rib don't come here. You can get better quality and tasting prime rib at the grocery store. The creamed corn and other sides were just ok. We also ordered the garlic mashed potatoes but they must've forgotten to add the garlic. I also added the 8oz lobster tail for $31. Don't bother with the lobster. The lobster was mushy and tasteless. If you want prime rib go to Dal Rae or any of the Lawry's Family of Restaurants. When Carrow's has their prime rib special, go there instead of Gulliver's!

I asked to sit in the Study and instead was seated in a booth in the main dining room even though there were tables available in the study. The booth was closed off so you couldn’t see much of the Christmas decorations. The host who assigned our table said that it was near the Study. They moved us after I complained.
