Guiso Latin Fusion
The food and service was outstanding. Great family story.
Handling safety precautions very well with outdoor tables spread more than 6 feet. Food is outstanding as always. Can’t beat their paella.
Love the food and the descriptions by the wait staff. Can’t wait to go back
One of the most enjoyable quality dinner in a long time. The hostess was a wealth of joy and enthusiasm describing the restaurant. We were first timers and she spent perfect time explaining the history and menu items which were worth hearing about. Our server was a stellar hand off. We were cared for to the right degree without being smothered. Five stars for everything and everyone
Amazing blend of flavors and family owned & operated. Love!
This is a great find! Great food and service and a little history of the family that got them started. We had paella and it was superb. We will be back.
Perfect as always, even in the smoke and the heat
Must visit in Healdsburg!! Family owned and run. Waitress (the sister) explained all the dishes in the menu which made the experience of the dining even better!
Amazing paella! I love the food and friendly service here. It is one of my favorite restaurants.
The pupusas were delicious and stood out, but the whole meal was a total 10/10. Their Covid processes were very well thought out, and great street side tables. We loved every dish we tried. Incredible place and story.
Fantastic food. An exceptional variety of flavors with high quality dishes.
Outdoor seating only. Staff very careful with health procedures: Temp checking, spaced tables, shields and masks. Food preparation and presentation were exceptional. Wait staff very cordial and informative.Would be a that at any time, but especially pleasant these days. The three of us are just about everything on the menu. My special surprise was the ice cream. It was extra rich and velvety. Go and support the family, while doing yourself a good deed.
The food at Guiso was excellent, and only matched in quality by the very warm server we had. Covid restrictions made ambience and sound levels tricky, but eating outside in front of the restaurant was ok. I would say our only criticism of the restaurant is the pricing, which seemed a bit high. Many of their dishes have broths as a main component and with the $46 brothy Paella and $22 Shrimp appetizer, it would be nice to offer some complementary tortillas and/or bread in order to fully enjoy the delightful broths that accompany each dish. All in all, a nice change from standard fare and well worth a taste.
Was very good but served Pinot Noir in a non Pinot glass, a pet peeve of mine
Great meal! Love the family story!
Guiso has amazing food at reasonable prices! It's family run and the staff (and chef) are welcoming and knowledgeable. Due to the pandemic, all tables are on the sidewalk and it's pretty warm in Healdsburg in the early evening! Nevertheless we enjoyed the experience and will definitely return.
Highly recommended by local winery owner - we will be back!
Food and service is always amazing at this wonderful Healdsburg find.
Awesome Latin cuisine, great wine list, nice selection of craft beer. Loved dining outside!
Great food and service from start to finish
We dined outdoors at Guiso during the pandemic in July.
The food quality is generally good-very good.
The Caribbean style paella is more brothy than its Spanish equivalents but tasty.
Prices are high relative to smaller portion sizes so I gave it a lower value score.
I had heard a lot about Guiso Latin Fusion and had real high expectations going in, the restaurant and food exceeded my expectation. Guiso has become a new favorite and I plan on eating there often. Thank you to the Guiso family for providing a wonderful experience and some incredible food.
A GEM for Healdsburg
We haven’t been to a place like that where the waitress (valeria ) was so knowledgeable! Everything we had is what she told us!what a great culinary experience! Thank you so much ! We’ll be back for sure!

Fantastic overall experience. Hands down the best paella I’ve ever had. Wonderful service. The outdoor seating due to COVID is ok but our table was a little cramped behind an open door and a heater of some sort would have been nice for the chilly evening. Given the circumstances, completely understandable. We look forward to dining there again.
I felt very safe eating here during Covid. We were fed outdoors, were met with a masked employee who asked health questions, took temperature, and even had us sign a waiver of liability. We were told to ask if the bathroom was open and wear a mask if going to the bathroom. The food was excellent. The only negative I could think of was sugar cookie dessert that had "dulce la leche" sauce. The sauce tasted good but was quite neutral, like lemon curd without lemon. Definitely no dulce la leche flavor. Appetizer and main courses were imaginative and tasted great. I would highly recommend.
Such a delight! A worthy addition to Healdsburg's restaurant scene. The staff is lovely and welcoming and the food is always delicious. The passionfruit and peaches salad along with the camarones borrachos-prawns in spicy tomato sauce-were special standouts this time but the Argentine steak with chimichurri sauce and grilled potatos is perfection.
My husband and I had heard good things about Giusto, and we were not disappointed. We decided to only have appetizers with no entrees. We found these items to be delicious: pork pupusa, elotes, tacos de pescado, and pan latino. We thought the camarones borrachos could have used some rice or other carb to absorb the wonderful tomato sauce. My husband found the quesadillita cheese cake to be a bit dry, but the alfajores were fine.
Fabulous food and service. Outdoor dining is on the street, so not much ambiance but the food is worth it!
Absolutely delicious food and friendly service is a winning combination!
The food was a great surprise, wasn't sure what we were getting into but was totally delicious. We ate the pupusa, sliders and shared the paella, each was outstanding. We look forward to going again!
Great food, tables on side walk due to COVID, everything else excellent.
Please note, this review is during the Covid era when indoor dining is prohibited.
The staff were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and polite.
We had to sign a Covid waiver, which I think is a bit overboard but may just be the local legal climate.
There were about six tables set up outside. The food is central American-based and delicious. We just went through the tapas menu, experiencing the daily special and 4 menu items and a dessert. The street corn with the avocado Crema was delicious. The bread rolls were incredibly soft hot and tasty. The cameratones were well cooked and the red sauce with them was good, but for my taste needed more spice. We did not try any of the entrées. The taste profiles were wonderful and unique and very well done.
The beverage list is quite small, wine and beer only. I had glasses of Vermintino and Barbera which where just right. I noticed other customers bringing their own wine which was gratefully accepted.
The chef personally presented the food at the end of the evening. To summarize, very tasty, well prepared food by a passionate kitchen and staff during difficult times. We will be back.
First time experience was great. The staff was friendly and they told the story behind every dish. Chef Carlos is passionate about the food and it shows in every dish. The paella is unique and something you will crave again and again. Cannot wait visit again and try other dishes.
It’s all about the fish here! Delicious every time.
Our new favorite restaurant in Healdsburg. Fantastic food (Grandma's recipes) and amazing service. We can't wait to go back!
Time and time again, I am always impressed by this wonderful restaurant! Don’t miss this special gem in Healdsburg! They did a great job at making sure to follow new COVID polices and made sure all of their customers felt safe. One top of that, their food is always incredible and their service is on point! I can’t say enough good things about chef Carlos and the entire crew at Guiso.
Definitely worth planning in advance and making a reservation to visit.
Had the paella and it is fantastic!! Carlos is great and all the food is delicious!!
The food is perfection no doubt about it. When you add the level of love and service provided by Carlos and the crew the experience becomes divine! This was my wife and my 2nd wedding anniversary but you don’t need a special occasion to dine with Guiso. ❤️
They also skilfully have managed to make their takeout during COVID as beautiful and delicious as the dine in. The only downside is not being able to enjoy the meal with them.
Best Fish taco I have ever had and I use to live in San Diego. Tried the steak this time and the flavor was fantastic. Been here several times and the food is alway great.
