Great service & great food! Fun outside atmosphere!
had a great meal, service was great! will be back soon:)
It was a little loud outside with the traffic. But we were glad to be there.
Everyone was working really hard to make an effort to follow new protocols and make everyone feel comfortable.
Enjoyed the experience after so long without.
We are regular customers. As usual everything was great. Immediate seating, friendly & efficient wait staff. Also special menu items for St Patrick’s Day were very good. Of course you cannot go there without enjoying a brew.
The ambiance and service at Granite City was fantastic. Our server was knowledgeable and offered much good advice and assistance. The food was very good to excellent and reasonably priced (especially since I am a "Mug Club" member). All-in-all, an excellent experience.
Generally good. I did include a request for a booth in my reservation. The greeter was not aware of that request. It apparently was not on her screen or she couldn’t find it...either is possible but I suspect the latter is more accurate....a training opportunity???
The Sunday brunch is very good. Plenty of variety and bottomless mimosas for $7.99 is awesome.
Great service and food. Nice and clean. Was very relaxing place. Used the reservation on line and had no problem.
Went there for date night. It was enjoyable and the food was good. My wife had the reuben, which she loved.
New server she did very well and food was delish
Had a wonderful brunch. Will definitely be back again.
Server was phenomenal, but longer than normal wait time. We didn’t have the kids with however so we didn’t mind.
I thought the little changes made are going in the wrong direction... paper napkins vs the cloth napkins; silverware always out on the table in a tin can where some 2 year old sitting At our table earlier on the day could have licked it, and burger served on a pizza pie mmnstead of a plate
Great service. Extensive menu. Good food. Always enjoy a meal here.
Food is excellent, service is great. It’sa little noisy but that just means ppl like it
We have to about wait for 40 to 45 minutes for our food.
Food was good and the service was great.
Overpriced. No point in making a reservation as they will not get you in on time. Food was horrible.
We attended Granite City during the brunch buffet time. The food, service, and options were all fantastic. The food and service just keeps getting better and better!
They actually took reservations serious and we got in right away
Flat bread and wing were good.
Services was prompt
Nice place very nice waiter we had the food and appetizers were very tasty. Would recommend to others.
Longer wait than expected, even getting on line through the app and extremely over-crowded entryway. Food was good as always, but service was just ok.
Had a 6:45pm reservation and had to wait 15 minutes longer. Once we were seated the service was great and the food was great thanks to Corrine who was our server.
Saturday night of Valentine’s weekend and extremely busy. It took a long time to get our drinks and our food. When the food arrived, my wife’s order was good, but my steak was cold and I got red potatoes instead of the fries I had requested. I pointed this out and was told they would get me an order of fries. I was nearly done eating the rest of my meal when I got the fries, and I only got them after I asked about them. The manager was very apologetic about the service and comped our drinks. We have eaten at this restaurant many times, and while it can be busy on the weekends, we have always gotten very good service and been very satisfied with the food. I am looking at this as an exception and will go back again.
Server was not very attentive. We had to wait for everything for so long, even the water refills
Took my parents out for their 40th anniversary dinner, dad proposed for a 2nd time to spend another 40 years together. It was awesome. Also, glad that we had a reservation, it was CRAZY busy, no place to sit and wait for our table and having two small kids that was a huge challenge. Kitchen was busy, food was good.
Overall average experience that you would expect from a suburban chain restaurant. Dinner “reservation” is more of a pre-wait list, better than just showing up, but still a lot of waiting for a table. Did the Valentine’s dinner special, really good selections in the fixed menu. Medium rare steak was on the well side of medium well, but still very tasty and tender. Again, overall average on a busy Friday night.
Good time Great Waiter Good Happy
Hour. Would Recommend
It was a very busy night “Valentines day “
Our experience was below expectations compared to some of our previous experiences
We made a reservation via Open Table, however we were still asked to wait about 10 minutes since they didn't have any tables available even though we arrived on time. Overall the food and service were good. Note that Granite City had filed for bankruptcy in Dec 2019 but was still operating.
Very nice lunch. Broad menu says wife and I can both get what we like with very different tastes in food. Good and friendly service.
Great prime rib sandwich!
Fantastic food. They have definitely stepped it up a notch or three since announcing bankruptcy. Food was amazing! Definitely going back!
We went for an early Valentine’s Day celebration. Our server was awesome but the food was not great ( quality of the steak, over salted stir fry, greasy fish and chips). The restaurant has become rather dirty and desperately needs a remodel. No need to spend money there again. There are so many better choices in the area.
Birthday and it was also a day before Valentine. Overall it was OK but the boneless wings from happy hour menu were pretty bad.
This place is large enough that we can usually get a reservation on the same day. We have been seated immediately every time.
Very nice. We had a very pleasant dining experience at Granite City. Really good prime rib sandwich and wife’s salad was really good true. Very friendly servers made this very enjoyable.
Offered complimentary Carmel rolls. They were very good. Might have to try brunch some day.
Food was great and timely especially for how busy it was. Waitress was very busy but ended up missing several empty glasses. Otherwise she was wonderful!
