Absolutely love this restaurant. Hands down the best hospitality in San Luis Obispo. The kind of service you see at restaurants in New York City. Emily is the most gracious and welcoming hostess and Hannah was beyond helpful as a sever and makes the best espresso martinis.
Good food, good drinks, great ambiance. We were there for restaurant month and my only suggestion would be to list the price of the dinner on the special menu. I didn’t see any prices on it.
We are a family of four with very different palates and thankfully there was something on the menu that spoke to each of us. We were fortunate to be dining during restaurant month and chose the three course option which delivered amazing food at an outstanding price. Not a crumb was left after dessert. An additional highlight was our wonderful server who thoughtfully offered another dessert when a dish we ordered had been sold out. She also recommended the house cabernet which was the perfect addition to my meal. My husband is still raving about it and can't stop talking about his chicken dish being the best he has ever had.
Cubano and deviled eggs were very good. Brioche French toast was okay. The mixed berry mascarpone was a little overpowering and the fruit was not quite ripe.
Food is excellent. Loved the brussels sprouts, roast chicken, soba tuna salad. Service was excellent too. Will definitely return
We were late to our reservation but they accommodated us. Everyone was very nice and the food was delicious. They made scrambled eggs and a side of fruit for our baby. Beautiful outdoor patio. Great place.
The service was very slow. The butter it’s to hard for the bread. It would be a great idea to soften the butter. Maybe keeping the metal cups under the heat lamp?
I e been here a couple of times and I love the food! The service is always good and it’s a nice place for a date night or chat hung up with wine and a friend.

We went for Sunday Brunch and we each (6 of us) ordered something different. The food was amazing - every dish!! I enjoyed the breakfast panini with one of Granada's specialty Mimosas - it was heavenly. Other dishes we ordered were the Fried Chicken and Waffles, Spicy Chorizo hash, Eggs Benedict... Every morsel was delightful.
I highly recommend anything on the menu. The ambiance of the outside patio was very pleasant and comfortable and the service was attentive, polite and professional. 5 stars!!
Great place with a great staff
The food was great as usual. Our server, Casey, was wonderful. Her knowledge of wines was excellent and she helped us make two great choices - a local Grenache and a French Gamay. Both were very good and went with all four of our meal choices.
Fantastic service and incredible food! Also, the restaurant itself is beautiful.
Christmas Brunch is an annual event for us. Look forward to next year.
the bacon bloody mary was fantastic. and the candied bacon on the eggs benedict was a wonderful surprise.
we used to love coming here but the service was poor, the order came out
part way and then there was a very long wait for the rest of the order. we had
3 or 4 different waitress/waiters and they all seemed in a hurry.
the food was fine but after the wait and part of the order getting cold waiting for
the rest of the order it was just ok.
Like this restaurant, but this was not a great experience. Took 80 minutes to get main course. Short ribs on the menu were mid-represented badly. Pasta was indicated, but basically spaghetti was served with some short ribs (very few!) sprinkled in. Very poor. And it was the most expensive entree on the menu!! Ugh. One server taking care of at least 10 tables. All around poor experience.

Absolutely loved our brunch at Granada! The experience was perfect, from the delicious food to the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful patio. Our new favorite brunch spot, will definitely go again soon!

Great service and good food. The only thing that could have been better was if the food was hotter. Everything was tepid at best. But relaxing outdoor experience and great way to spend Thanksgiving.
Wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner
My partner and I had a reservation at 7:30 pm to celebrate their birthday. We arrived at 7:20 pm and were automatically seated. We got cups of water at 7:40 pm and were not checked on again till 8:00 pm. Around 8:10 pm we had to stop a server and ask for service. The server said, "Oh, let me check who your server is". He then came back and said, "I don't know who your server is but let me just help you two". While all this was happening, two parties who came in after us were already drinking beverages and eating. We didn't end up getting our drinks and an appetizer until 8:18 pm, 1 hour after our reservation. When he dropped off our drinks he took our entree order. He walked away and then we waited, and waited.. and waited. Around 9:15 pm he walked by our table and said, "Oh, you guys haven't gotten your food?". By this time I was very upset and frustrated! We finally got our food about TWO HOURS after we had entered the restaurant, 9:20 PM! I feel like we were completely forgotten about. The service was HORRIBLE! I wanted to treat my partner to a nice birthday dinner but this whole experience ruined our San Luis Obispo trip.
I took my family here for a celebration, and the food and service were terrific!

We ate here last night for dinner. I had heard good comments about the restaurant, so I was disappointed with our experience.
I ordered the crispy duck with cherries, which was very good, somewhat light on the cherries, but the duck was moist and well cooked over a bed of well seasoned lentils.
My husband ordered the lamb burger. His plate came out lukewarm, the lamb burger was overcooked (well done when ordered to be med-rare). The side of fries were not only cold, but appeared to have re-fried and placed under a warmer until they were dried out and hard. When I called the server Stephanie over, she did offer to have the plate redone, however, my husband declined as we had waited over 40 minutes for our dinners. So I asked if he could just have fresh hot fries while he finished the burger. SHE CHARGED US FOR THE FIRES!
Overall, service was very slow. We understand that the restaurant was very busy and seemed short staffed for servers. Stephanie stopped by infrequently during the 2 hours we were there and food was very slow coming out of the kitchen. The manager did come over to apologize and offered us a free dessert.
If they were having staffing issues, I would think it would be better to seat fewer table and provide better and quicker service, than to have poor service for more tables. A poor experience such as ours, will prevent us from returning.
Although, I think this restaurant would normally be above average, I would hesitate to recommend it at this point. Maybe in the future.
Unfortunately we were unable to eat there since they denied us seating OUTSIDE with a reservation because we did not pass the SERVICE DOG SPECIFIC AID TEST they subjected us to. They could simply state on their website that they hate dogs and save people the trouble.

Food was mediocre. Pork was under seasoned. Gnocchi had excessive sauce. Overpriced for food served.
Very nice evening at our favorite spot in SLO. Unfortunately, the short rib ragu was fairly mediocre and lacked flavor. The apple and butternut squash gnocchi was overly seasoned and way too "pumkiny" - overdone and unenjoyable. Oh well.
Have been to Grenada several times and it remains our family favorite, even when its not spot on.
The food was delicious - drinks were fun and yummy. We sat outside where they had fire pits set up, so it was comfortable. The tables were a little close, and a bit close to the fire pits. Service was very good for these times. The hotel in which this restaurant is situated is a beautiful old building, so the rooms, the bathroom and the patio are all lovely

Great service and ambiance. Will return! The wine menu is fantastic.
I ordered the chicken and waffles. Neither had any flavor. The "half chicken" was half of a tiny chicken breast and was dry as a bone. The waffle was so over cooked that it crunchy and difficult to cut through. Other tables around us didn't get food or drinks for over 30 minutes. I will never come back here for another meal, especially with all of the great options in SLO for food.
