The heart and inspiration for Granada is the beloved and pre-existing Granada Bistro. This space has been renovated and re-imagined in industrial chic design, serving seasonal, farm-to-table ingredients sourced from Central Coast farmers and purveyors. Dishes are inspired by Mediterranean culture, French and Spanish cuisine. Small plates, charcuterie and the freshest local seafood, meats, and produce are complemented by an eclectic wine list including Spanish and French selections, and a range of the Central Coast’s finest artisan wine producers

Small dining area which also includes a shared table as well as individual tables. Enjoyed the bass on interesting setting of vegetables. French Press coffee is excellent. Service was prompt and pleasant.

Fantastic little restaurant. Seating is limited so make reservations. Hostess couldn’t find our reservation, so I showed it to her on my phone. She wasn’t very nice or polite about it. Our server was awesome, though. Will definitely return. Get the Caesar salad!

It just seemed that the service was really slow. However as soon as we where finished they were grabbing our plates and everything else faster than we could take our last bite or sip.

We were sat outside on a cold blustery day and then told the heaters weren’t working. Inside was absolutely deafening loud. We ended up staying outside, the server brought us blankets (!). Not only was it cold, it was dark. I had to use my phone flashlight to see the menu! The appetizers came, black blobs in the dark. Entrees were the same. I had no idea if I was sticking my fork into steak or potato. This was the last night of our vacation, and a huge disappointment.

We had Sunday brunch. When we arrived, the weather seemed fine so we opted for a table on the patio. It was a very pleasant space and the heaters did a nice job of taking the chill off.
It did start to rain just before we were served our food. The staff was amazingly quick at ushering us into the building and seating us at the long communal table, which was fine.

We order a couple of different versions of eggs Benedict and the Brunch Burger (with ham, cheese and a fried egg). All were very good, although the poached eggs on the Benedicts were undercooked and very runny.

Our brunch cocktails were very good, including the “zero proof” cocktails.

Our server was efficient and friendly.

The ambiance and cocktails were great. I got the salmon though and it was just so-so. I also ordered the bread expecting to have it to snack on before our meal, but it didn’t come until the rest of the food did. Would have preferred to have it earlier.

From beginning to end, the best food, service, and atmosphere one could hope for (especially on a busy Valentine's night)!

Greeted and almost immediately sat by the pleasant hostess. Our waiter Ulysses (spelling?) came up and paid close attention to detail to our wine we brought in, made an intentional comment about the notation we made upon booking our reservation, and gave us the perfect amount of space and attention.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Quality ahi for the starter, perfectly cooked scallops, duck and risotto for the entrees, and a delightfully light tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert. The kitchen and wait staff obviously have great communication as our food was timed perfectly as well.

Not a single complaint here.

My wife and I went on a dinner date here for the first time this week and its now one of our favorite spots here in SLO for a “sit down” occasion. Great atmosphere, very relaxing and outstanding service. The bar made me an excellent Sidecar and the wine list was good. As far as the food is concerned the menu is original and delicious. We were both blow away by their “Avacado” entree which we shared as an appetizer. Highly recommend this spot as a nice date or special occasion as it is not cheap but that being said I would have expected to pay more for the amount of attention we received and the overall quality of the expierence.

Our first time here and we arrived very late (9:45pm) after an event at Cal Poly Performing Arts. The kitchen closes at 10pm; we called when the show was over that we were on our way. We were treated very well; the entire menu was available but we could not order food or drink after 10pm. Ordered and completely relaxed thereafter.

Loved the gnocchi and the cassoulet (rustic--perfect). Absolutely no rush once we got our order in. The decor is delightful. Will certainly give it another try when we return to SLO.

Duck confit was on the dry side and too salty, too many white beans.

Vegetables were very tasty but almost overwhelmed with flavors other than their own (cauliflower and Brussels).

Calling Sans Liege GSM was superb!

Service EXCELLENT!

The place is lovely and lives up to its “Bistro” billing. The food is a hit and miss that leaves one guessing. The food has a hint of Indian spices and in some cases it can tilt the scale towards too much. For example, my wife loved her Ginger Carrot soup, but it was too spicy for me.

From start to finish, we were blown away by our dinner. The unique combination of flavors was incredible and the chef’s attention to detail was amazing. We went during restaurant week and had the tasting menu and were so happy. I can’t wait to go back.

We did not know we would be sitting outside for our Christmas dinner. 50 degrees or less. Placed us by a heater. We complained early on that the heater was not putting out much heat. Staff shrugged and gave is blankets. We all had soup — but they ran out of bread.
Very disappointing. Will not return.

We had Christmas dinner at Granada bistro and it was amazing! Our food was melt in your mouth delicious and our waiter was so friendly.and knowledgeable about the food and wines. I can’t wait to go back!!!

It was an awful experience, seated within 12” (either side) of other customers. Food tasted all the same and reheated. I do not mind spending money to have an experience but to spend $280.00 and be totally disappointed is something else.

The menu had great variety of locally sourced choices. Our food was all excellently prepared/presented, extremely delicious and reasonably priced for how special it was. Because of rain that evening, they accommodated us in the adjacent/connected hotel bar at their only booth in there. It was a wonderful, almost completely private, dining experience. If there's a way to request that seating, I recommend it. The staff was very attentive and knowledgable, yet chill/relaxed. If I lived in the area, I would dine there again on a special occasion.

This is a great place for a date or special occasion. Loved the atmosphere and the outdoor dining was a lovely plus. Food was good but not stellar. I was a little disappointed that they couldn’t make some of the specialty cocktails since it was only 7pm.
We ordered scallops, ribs, carrots, and half baguette.
Scallops - turnip cake was delicious, but scallops itself was bland, could’ve used a better sear.
Ribs - on the smaller side. But YUM.
Carrots - good, but not worth the price for what was basically seasoned carrots with a bit of sauce.

All in all, you pay for for the ambiance rather than a gourmand experience.

Granada Bistro did a great job making our dinner special for my mother, who turned 60. I booked our reservation on Open Table. On the day they called me to ask if I had a seating preference, I didn't but asked them to place us at the host's recommended table. They also asked about a dessert preference for my mom so we could surprise her with a birthday treat, again I asked for the host's suggestion. The night went so well. The server was attentive and communicative when needed. The ambiance was wonderful, we sat outside on the patio. There was a wonderful fire going in the center of the patio and plenty of space heaters, so eating outside was comfortable. The server suggested that the menu was designed to be ordered family style, which suited us well. We ordered several items and enjoyed sharing every dish with each other. I think my favorite dish that night was the gnocchi. My sister, who works in the wine industry was impressed with their selection of local wines too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to someone else.

We had Thanksgiving dinner here, and the entrees were amazing! My husband loved the pork chop, and my salmon was to die for! We didn't give 5 stars because the desserts left a lot to be desired, especially the pear and apple tart. It was a huge disappointment, undercooked, cold and generic puff pastry with practically raw fruit, it was below a beginner effort. The other reason we didn't give 5 stars was the choice and volume of music played that evening. It was really loud, which we decided was their way of creating privacy between tables as they were crammed in so close together. I've walked past this place many times and never heard the music so loud. Also, the choice of music for a holiday was rather bizarre. We have fairly eclectic tastes in music, but this really put us to the test. Some techno babble that we'd never heard before, that was totally holiday inappropriate. It has made me rethink the hassle of Thanksgiving dinner might just be worth it...

Overrated in yelp!! Food serve for thanksgiving dinner was not really that good. They should made thier regular menu available. The 3 cheese appetizer is good!! Ambience is poor! So dark you cannot see your food. Had to use my light in my iphone to sign the check :( Over all i put 2 star

Highly recommend this spot! We sat on the patio on a fairly chilly night but their heaters were awesome. The food was spectacular and the service very friendly and prompt. We will certainly be back.

First time here, for my bday dinner. Had the mezcal cocktail to begin, which was a lightly smokey delight. We were a party of 6 and came to Grenada because all of us (locals) had never been, but had heard good things. Food was uniformly very good ( gnocchi, sprouts and scallops were best I’ve had for at least a year). The fact that they allow and were quite gracious about us bringing in 2 bottles for corkage ( local wine I’d been saving for a few years) earned Grenada extra points. We needed a third bottle and our waiter suggested something new to me - but in a similar vein to what I had brought- and it was very good.
