Multiple trips and every one has had excellent service and food.
Chicken was great. Halibut was great. Awesome wine list and a cool somm.
Fantastic food and ambiance
Perfect diner as always at Goose! This is a staple in the Napa Valley and the food never disappoints.
Outstanding on every level. The little gem & kale caesar and duck fat fries were highlights.
We were seated outside in their lovely garden. Food and drink was excellent as was the service.
Beautiful setting in wine country. Our food and service was outstanding!
Had an excellent meal Saturday night. Food was outstanding; service was quite adequate, but not what I would consider exceptional. We would definitely recommend to others and would return if ever in that area.
We hadn't been to G&G in quite some time and really enjoyed the ambience in the front garden.
30 day aged black angus ribeye chop bone in. Just do it.
The wedge and bavette was prepared perfectly. the dessert was not as delicous as I had hoped, but the drinks were!
Lovely setting and an intimate, classic bar. Great cocktails! Food excellent and service outstanding. Beautiful grounds.
If you are ever in the Napa area you need to come and experience Goose and Gander. The staff got us in early and the service was great. This place has a wonderful cocktail menu. It is a place you need to go to several times to truly appreciate it.
The quality of food and service can't be beat! Amazing drinks, and beautiful outside dining
Food was delicious and our server was really attentive and helpful making a decision. So many items looked yummy
Sat on their gorgeous patio…..and it was perfect…..well…..almost perfect. When I went to the lower-level to the restroom…….THAT was perfect. I could live in that bar/restaurant.
We had a lovely time, patio was comfortable, staff was friendly, food was good.
We had a great dinner and discovered a new winemaker from their “Featured Winemaker”’s program. Nice touch and a reasonably priced wine. Finished with the home made churros with caramel sauce.
Zach was great and very informative! You have to try the pig ears!
What a lovely setting! Charming patio and it would have been perfect, except I took the waiters recommendation of the pork chop….. rather rough and dry. If it wasn’t for the sweet sauce, I don’t think I could eat it. Plus I am not a fan of a la carte. My plate was one large chunk of meat…. That’s it. I would have really enjoyed a side complement such as risotto and veggies. . And have to order additional dishes for a complete meal. My husband order the burger… and enjoyed it. The setting did too nice for a burger place. I would like to see a few more entree options.
Had a great experience. The food was flavorful and service was very good. We had the pig ears, mushroom doom buttermilk wedge salad and 24 oz bone in ribeye. It was one of the best steaks that I have had. Must try again.
Really enjoyed out dining experience as the food was excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating. It was pricey, especially for the salads and the drinks were a small pour. But we would go back.
Great food in a beautiful environment
The slowest service I've seen in awhile. Food was great.
We were there for a 30th Birthday special and the staff made it exceptional with their friendly and quiet manner. Food was great. Drinks were fabulous
Wonderful outdoor dining.
Loved this place. So many amazing things to choose from on the menu. I think the mushroom soup was the best I have ever had!
Some appetizers were disappointing, like the chicken wings and bone marrow. The entree and dessert was good but overall quite overpriced for the quality of food. Moreover, the level of service we received seemed quite amateur for the cost of dining.
It was so good I would go again and again and then again. They have a small tiki drink menu that delivers and the patio is lovely
We had outstanding service from Hugo. He answered our questions clearly and offered recommendations in a friendly manner.
Wonderful experience. Our server Ben was phenomenal
Excellent waitstaff and food. Somewhat limited variety of main courses. Best hamburger in the country. Would like to see more fish choices.
Great food and great service! Made our anniversary very special. Would definitely come back when in Napa Valley.
Dwight was amazing, food was incredible, team was very friendly and ambiance was beautiful.
Interesting starters and delicious burger and fries!
Amazing. Great staff. Great service. Great food.
We were greatly looking forward to checking out this restaurant. Unfortunately, were left disappointed. My husband and I were in Napa for 3 nights, and made reservations here for dinner. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, please understand, my review is solely for the quality of the food. We started off with a couple of appetizers. Had the pig ears and bone marrow. Having had bone marrow in various restaurants, I have to say this was the worst we have ever had. It was two of us, and the menu does not mention, that it only comes with ONE little piece of bone marrow. Who is supposed to eat this?! My husband and I had to share one tiny bite, which majorly lacked flavor. It was actually not even warm inside. It comes with 3 pieces of bread and some greens, the bread portion is inappropriate for the amount of bone marrow. I did not care much for the pig ears, the sauce was very overbearing and sweet, and kind of an appetite spoiler. I went on to a main course of the New York strip steak with peppercorn, which was mediocre. The "duck fat" fries did not have a hint of duck fat flavor in them at all. I hate to say this, but they tasted like McDonald's fries. My husband had the pork chop, which he said was extremely fatty and overly covered in a sauce that was just too sweet. I think the chef needs to rethink the menu here a bit. The desserts were very nice. We enjoyed those. I am sorry to leave such a review, but we just expected so much more from this place.
The atmosphere is lovely and there is a serious and substantial wine selection. The quality of food is fair but there is just close to no options for vegans. I hope that more and more restaurants like Goose and Gander will consider adding some vegetarian and vegan options.
Great fun- great food!
