    It had been a while since visiting but seeing familiar staff (Shelley) and an updated menu full of great delicious choices made us realized it had been too long.

    Goose and Gander has amazing service as well as food quality. The bar downstairs offers an ambience like a speakeasy. The bartenders were very quick to fulfill orders. We dined outside and the service there was impeccable as well.

    Was running 15 minutes late due to traffic and contacted the restaurant. The restaurant took liberty to move our reservation from 4:45p to 5:00p. Reservation should have been kept at 4:45p to be seated upon our arrival. It was expressed to the hostess that we were attending a nearby concert and would appreciate if we could be served timely. She was aware because my mother who made the reservation as a birthday gift also called the restaurant to request we are served right away. Instead our food arrived late giving us only 10 minutes to savor and digest. Not only were we served late, other patrons seated after us were served their meal before us. Another disappointment was the Roasted Bone Marrow that had hardly any marrow. It was not a half bone but rather rounds and one piece was significantly mostly bone. To be fair the entrees were delicious.

    We ate outdoors and the weather was perfect, making the dining experience wonderful. The service was very good, there when we needed her and not there when we didn't.

    Great spot! So glad we had dinner here. Went right before the Andrea Bocelli concert. Ordered the katsu and duck fat fries. Wedge salad was delicious. Shrimp cocktail was perfect. Definitely will come back here again. I think it was nice to sit outside. We sat inside so it was kind of dark and I couldn’t see the menu and had to use the little lamp. Staff was friendly and our server and service was excellent.

    This is a restaurant that really cares about the food it serves. Standard American dishes but exemplary standards. Wings, salad and a burger were all cooked to perfection with beautiful seasoning and presentation. Accompanied by a bottle of wine from a vineyard just down the highway preceded by a couple of innovative and moreish cocktails. A place to go when you are ready for a change from Napa Valley fine dining but still want the highest quality food and drinks. Delicious and highly recommended.
