It was a pleasant experience, we went for the senior special on Monday. It included the salad bar or soup and a choice of entrée. There were about five choices to choose from as well you could have dessert which was included. The price was good, I felt we got good value for our money. I had steak which was done to perfection.

We were there for the Easter Brunch. The Prime Rib was excellent, as usual. Unfortunately, all of the starches (potatoes, rice, pasta salads, etc. ) contained peppers which I am allergic to. I have brought this to the attention of the owner, on many previous occasions, but nothing has changed. I spoke to the chef that was restocking the food and mentioned that there were peppers in everything, he commented that the head "chef likes his peppers!" I explained my allergy and asked if they could give me a few potatoes before they add the peppers (they have done this in the past) and I was told that they are already mixed together. I was under the impression that the food was prepared fresh. I was mistaken. He offered a deep-fried "hash brown" patty or "french fries" as a substitute they were obviously the same as offered by fast food restaurants. When the server was carving my prime rib he said, "Make sure you don't get any peppers on that". He might have been joking but it was rude and insensitive. The serving utensils were sticky and greasy, The same person told me that they get changed every hour. Obviously, they need to be changed more frequently. Our table was butted against a wall that was sprayed with dried on food. It has been there so long that it looks like part of the wall. All of the food on the hot buffet was hot! The asparagus was tender crisp and very flavourful. There was a large selection of breads and cheeses as well as a large variety of desserts. Our server was attentive without being pushy.

We went to celebrate my father’s birthday as well as Easter and the hostess Mario was such a pleasure he kept coming back to the table clearing our plates refilling our water and keeping our beverage order coming. Because there was a long line up and scrambled eggs were being prepared Mario offered to bring us a plate to our table. For the food and service not to mention the quality and quantity you can’t go wrong with booking a reservation for any occasion at Golf’s Steakhouse Always a treat and pleasure for my family Thanks

Our Dining Room can host private functions in secluded areas from 15 guests right up to 60 guests. Although not a necessity, Golf's can work with you to provide custom private menus to suit your tastes as well as budget. If you have more than 60 guests or would prefer maximum privacy with you own private bar, entrance, and washrooms, Golf's has two private banquet facilities which can cater to all your needs from 40 guests right up to 300. From cocktail receptions to full course meals including plated, buffet, and country style, let Golf's experienced service team look after all of the details.
