Gola Osteria is tucked inside the Historic Quarry Arms Building, providing an atmosphere of old world charm that features antique Stickley style furniture. Our signage in and around the building is limited due to landmark regulations. Don't hesitate to call us for directions and parking instructions!

Please keep in mind we treat our terrace as a first come first serve basis. You may request to sit outside but we may not be able to accommodate your request.

Gola serves modern Italian cuisine that highlights imported Italian ingredients along with proudly supporting local farms and wineries. The menu, created by Chef Sam Epps, is meant to give new experiences driven by passion and tradition. The seasonally inspired menu (updated weekly) is accompanied by a well-curated Italian and Finger Lakes wine list as well as a rotating selection of both inventive and classic cocktails.
We are happy to provide champagne toasts or specialty cakes for your celebration!

Private party faciliteiten
We offer restaurant or terrace (in the spring and summer) rentals for private parties and special events! Join us in our semi-private backroom that seats up to 18 guests. It is a very welcoming layout where two tables with 5 guests each surround one long table with 8 guests. Another layout features one long table of up to 10 guests for a cozier private affair. We also have an adjacent dining room that features our bar. This room accommodates up to 12 guests (2 tables with 6 guests each). We are happy to host cocktail hours in that room as well; up to 20 guests with comfortable standing room.

The ambience was quaint, the pasta very good, the auxiliary staff excellent, but unfortunately we must have caught our server struggling with personal issues who couldn’t seem to help himself from taking out his frustration on us. I have never been chastised for asking a question regarding a menu option because he had described it before when he had first went over the menu. He had spoke so quickly and the atmosphere was so loud that I admittedly didn’t catch half of what he had initially said. I was humiliated and felt like a student not paying attention to her teacher and exposed to my fellow classmates. I was truly shocked and taken aback by his response and found myself stumbling an “I’m sorry, I must have forgotten” response. He later responded to our wanting to taste the wine from the bottle of Chianti we had ordered by asking me if I wanted him to pour a taste or if I wanted him to just pour my glass. He commented that it wasn’t like I was going to ask him to take the bottle back. I just might have, but it turned out to be excellent though served a little too warm for our liking. He actually had the audacity to reply with a derogatory comment regarding the 3 ingredients in Carbonara when my husband asked if it was really good. I truly believe you can have an amazing dining experience here if you happen to have another server or if you’re lucky enough to catch Sean L. having a good day.

This amazing Italian restaurant hidden in a quirky spot off a hallway in an apartment building rivals my favorites in big cities! Always creative dishes full of flavor and top notch service! I really appreciate your GF pasta too!
