The restaurant is very beautiful but that was about it. The waitress was not very attentive. The food was not good, my daughter didn't even care for her pizza. The beer is weak and not very flavorful.

Waited all weekend to have crab dinner and was very disappointed they were out. No notice from hostess when checking in. Had salad instead, but it just wasn't the same. Service was very good, and beautiful interior.

our wait staff was phenomenal, unfortunately I can't remember her name-it did start with an "M". Always enjoy the food, great calamari, fish, pizza, drinks, etc

This was my first time eating here, and I will not be going back. The service was amazing, her name was Amanda, but the food was two GIANT thumbs down. For the price of the food I was expecting excellence, but that is the exact opposite of what I got.

The menu has had some of the same items for years, but the quality and portions have fallen. I don't know if it was a bad night but since all 4 different dishes served at my table were disappointing, it makes me reconsider choosing this restaurant again. I haven't been in a while, but before this experience it was my go-to reccomendation for a special but comfortable dinner.
The fettuccine jambalaya had about a cup of noodles to a cup and a half of overcooked meat (the sausage, chicken and shrimp were all rubber-tough). Huge cloves of garlic (7+) as well that just didn't make sense. It was frozen-dinner portions which may have been more filling if the meat was tasty but unfortunately it wasn't at all and I left the majority on the plate.
The steak was rare when asked for light pink, yet the char made the steak taste overcooked/burnt and not in a fun summer barbeque sort of way, more like the grill needed to be scrapped. We also weren't given the option to choose the type of potatoes so we were surprised it came out as wedges instead of mashed like other tables.
Pizza was just so-so, not terrible just not the value for price.
Shrimp and grits was the best entree ordered, but the grits were very oily from the quantity of cheese used and meat was overcooked.
We also noticed the long amounts of time food waited under heat lamps until served from where we were sitting. I watched one dish sit for 25 minutes, this maybe a root to the overcooked meat, but I couldn't say as I didn't see my actual dish.
The non-alcoholic drinks we ordered, nacho appetizer and bread pudding were great though! Server was friendly and we were seated quickly with our reservation.
Hope some improvements are made, would try again but if the entrees don't get better I'll just go for drinks and apps.

Service was good however, there seemed to be an issue going on because it took an overly long time to get food.

One of the best restaurants in Anchorage. Definitely need reservations on the weekend for dinner. Great local seafood. It's a Brewhouse so yes, the beer is great too.

The ambience was nice and the staff were friendly. Our server made a few suggestions and was very helpful. The food tasted great and we did not have to wait very long. I would definitely come back.

I try to eat here every time I am in Anchorage. It is good food and good service. Good beer, and I would recommend reservations as it is always busy.

Unfortunately, our waiter was rude and abrupt this evening. He was slow to care for us but sure was fast to find us when we gave him a 50 gift card and didn't realize there was only 27 left on it. My food was undercooked and when I asked if this was how it was suppose to look - he bearly looked at it and said yup.
Won't be back.

The steak was under cooked they gave me someone else’s plate they ordered with no blue cheese so they took mine back to cook steak longer and it was still raw just sauce poured over it. I was told they had a new chef and that was a mistake on their part, they changed a few items on the menu and now it’s very disappointing

We had ordered the Valentine's Day prix fixe meal and it was excellent. I ordered the ciopino and my husband ordered the pepper-crusted sirloin. Both meals were excellent.

The Ahi was great and the shrimp salad was excellent . Our server, Matt, met our every request and he was pleasant and gracious. This was a wonderful experience.

One our sons was home on leave and he requested a BrewHouse visit for his final evening in town. That says something right there when a long-time Alaskan chooses a specific place. Happily, as usual, they performed well and will retain their top dog reputation in our family, anyway. The beer was good as always, my wife’s salad was great (not quite enough avocado initially but the server promptly remedied that) and my son’s grilled salmon was proof that his disdain for non-Alaska salmon is fully justified. Overall, a wonderful experience.

When I tried to make reservations the front reception desk was not helpful at all, mixed answers depending on who I spoke with. I was told there were no tables, I went online and got a reservation right away.

I had the blue salad with a plain grilled piece of halibut on top; I have eaten this same meal many, many times there and this time it was terrible!! I did not say anything as this was a company event and didn't want to put a downer on it. I do make the reservations for our events and will not be choosing Glacier Brewhouse again for a while. The halibut had no flavor, obviously sat for a while before being brought out, cold, mushy. They put all the core pieces of the cabbage on my salad, I could hardly chew them (remember I've had this many times there before), not near enough dressing. I was very disappointed.
