   Service was very attentive and the steak was great. My only complaints are 1: it was very, very loud because of course they were packed and 2: the dining room is very crowded. Felt like there were simply too many tables for the room.

   Great food, great service. we did not find Gibson's to necessarily be louder than many other restaurants, but it is too loud for us to have enjoyed as we would have wished. Also, people sitting at our table with their chairs backing up to the aisles were continually getting bumped by anyone passing behind them.

   I was, based on all the five star recommendations, curious to test their menu. It wasn't bad but certainly nothing special to me. If you're looking for a standard meat dish, this is where you go. Don't expect anything special pr out of the ordinary. The place is crowded and fairly loud. The complementary valet parking is a nice extra.

   Very expensive for steaks that weren’t that great Got ribeye and Chicago cut and wasn’t that impressed with taste. Loud, service was not great, waited long time for someone to wait on us and took 30 min to get bill even after saying we were done the 30 min to get box up food. Waiter was busy with a big table and spent little time with us. Table next to us was vip and had good service and we really got any attention

   Amazing birthday dinner for my dad's 80th! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks were spectacular, of course. My goofball 10 year old asked for a wine recommendation and the waitress brought his lemonade in a wine glass. 😂 Get the turtle pie for dessert.

   We've been to Gibson's Rosemont many times and love the restaurant. This visit, we had the WR steak and it was somewhat tough. The cheeseburger was smaller than usual, and they seemed to try to make up for it with more french fries on the plate. Service was outstanding as usual and it's still a fun place to come to.

    Warm welcome at the door from a host, who promptly offered to check my suitcase, as I had just come from airport. Congenial, attentive waiter Michael. The place was very busy, yet manager Patrick visited our table three times. Food was prepared exactly as we ordered. Michael offered suggestions, answered questions. Good sense of humor. It was more than just a good dinner… a very nice evening out.

    We had an excellent dinner. We started with some wine and shrimp cocktail which were delicious. We had a filet and ribeye with some French fries. Everything was great and the service was excellent. Thanks

    Wedge salad is served on a low curved bowl making it awkward to try and cut. It should be served on a flat plate. The filet sliders were served less that hot. They need better heating lamps in the kitchen. The sugar coating on the crème brûlée was soft not crunchy. It was definitely NOT fresh. Had to be leftover from a couple of days ago. Not creamy at all. Disappointing. Bread is great. Service was slow even though there weren’t many in the restaurant.

    Gibson's was crowded, we had to wait and repeatedly ask for our table - no space in the bar either, when we got to our table it was small and cramped in a corner and you pay a lot for this experience all of which are negatives. However the saving grace was the outstanding service we got from Donald Haupt our server including his wonderful historical knowledge. The food also was excellent - my wife had scallops and I had the pork chop with probably the best creamed spinach I have ever tasted. That part was top notch.

    Great night! We were meeting a friend for dinner before his flight to SFO. He was delayed in traffic between Hyde Park and Gibson’s. The staff was great and flexible. We kept our table in the bar, ordered our meals before he arrived so when he arrived, he could enjoy his ribs and a cold Goose Island IPA in the 30 minutes we had together! The crab cake was AMAZING, the ribs were wonderful! Thank you!

    The service and the food are outstanding. They do try and jam too many tables together so your chair is always bumping the person behind you and people have too hard a time walking to get to their table. That makes the fine dining experience a little less desirable, but because their service and food is so good, it won't stop me from going back.

    A great dinner. Food was excellent and service was very good. My only negative is they jam a lot of tables really close together so it can be a bit loud for conversation. Right next convention center slits very busy.

    Usually Gibson’s is known for their wonderful service, but our waiter on this trip seemed to be annoyed with us before we even sat down. Our table was also touching the table next to ours, so my uncle was forced to scrunch or have his elbow on our neighbor’s silverware. We’ll return to the Gibson’s in Oak Brook, but we’ll avoid the Rosemont location from now on. *the service in the bar afterward was exemplary

    We love Gibsons and that's why we always have our celebrations there. The food is consistently excellent. The only problem this time was that the food (including salads) took so long to come out of the kitchen. We were served after others in our section who came after us got their food. We're not sure what happened. Our waiter was very attentive but maybe he forgot to put in our order? It didn't make sense. While we didn't mind waiting, a 3-hour dinner as a result was a little much. We also requested to be seated in one of the back/side rooms as the tables are so close together in the main dining room that conversation is nearly impossible. The hostesses were going to seat us on the main floor, but after I reminded them of my request, we were accommodated.

    Wonderful dinner at Gibsons. I cannot recall our server’s name but he was from Costa Rica. He was fantastic. His partner, a young man in high school, was also wonderful. They made it a fun & special night for us! Great food and great company.
